We bought this back in March, used it about 3 times and then put it in the utility closet. I brought it out this week and it broke. Not to sure if we got a bad batch, but this product didn't last.

Handle had broken on the 3rd week of use

I have a dog that sheds like it's his full time job, I thought I was going to have to get my carpet replaced, but this pulls up all the hair my vacuum was leaving behind. This also helps keep long (human) hairs from getting tangled up in the vacuums brush beaters. I love the adjustable length on the handle, too.

Works wonders for getting dog hair out of carpet. Definitely working for it though. Only crappy part is the broom collapses half way through. So it's half the size of it normally

I bought this because of online recommendations for using it on finished wood floors. However, though this broom may not damage the finish on a wood floor, its use makes a rather "scratchy" noise on the floor, and I don't want to risk any long term damage. Also, I'm not confident that it will pick up as much dust and debris that a fine bristle broom will.

Gets up pet hair better than an ordinary broom. Small enough to use in the house around furniture. My new favorite broom
