Great set at a great price
Great set of quality pens at a reasonable price. The set offers a range of point sizes in one color, perfect for doodling, journaling and art. The pens rest comfortably in my hand and the ink dries quickly while the pen tip itself remains firm and ink supply is adequate

Waterproof!
I love these pens. I make watercolors and love to combine words, quotes, or even just some details with pen. It doesn't matter if I apply the Micron pens before or after water coloring, this ink stays put and never even smears! It's amazing quality. I got this pack recently after already owning two colored packs. I love the wide variety of tip styles that are all black and have used a few of them already. It comes in handy to have a very small tip up to a brush tip. A tip I have for you is that if you use these with multi-media projects always wipe/use the pen on a clean paper afterwards to make sure there is no residue of paint etc. on the tip. I have had it pick up some paint that wasn't quite dry and then had a harder time getting it going the next time. Now that I always make sure it's clean before capping I haven't had any trouble. Highly recommend Sakura Micron pens.

Reliable Classic Pens for Line Art and Inking
Sakura Micron pens are a classic staple for artists, and for good reason. They come in a wide variety of nib sizes, ranging from very fine 005 (0.20 mm) to bold GR (1 mm), making them perfect for everything from detailed line art to expressive ink work. The ink is waterproof, which makes these pens especially well suited for ink and wash techniques. They write and draw smoothly, and I have not experienced any bleeding issues. That said, there are a couple of downsides that keep this from being a full five star product for me. These pens are not refillable, so once the ink runs out, the entire pen has to be replaced, which adds unnecessary waste. They also take up more storage space compared to using a single fountain pen with a fude nib. Overall, the Micron pens are dependable, high quality tools that deliver excellent results. If you are looking for consistent performance and precise line work, they are a solid choice, just with a few practical trade offs to keep in mind.

Reliable, long lasting great ink.
Excellent archival ink pens. Reliable. Dries fast. Once dried I have used water color paint, alcohol ink, and other mediums, (do not over saturate the working surface with liquids) and the ink does not run. The nibs can be damaged with too much pressure. I am very heavy handed so I do wear the nibs down before the ink runs out. The pens are durable. If you are light handed the nibs and pens will last a very long time. I’ve used Sakura pens, for over 200 pieces of artworks and I continue to purchase and use them. Highly recommend them for your art projects.

Never lets me down!
I'm a lifelong user of Micron pens. You can NEVER go wrong with this brand! Highest quality art pens I have ever used. I have tried many brands over the years, but ALWAYS end up right back using these. The price is really great for this many in the pack and love that they come in many various types of packs as well. I have never had them run or smudge after the ink dries. These are long lasting in storage as well! I use them writing script and for line art in various mediums (paint, marker, color pencil).

Very happy - had seen some reviews where I wasn't sure if they might be genuine but they're definitely genuine Micron pens. I would hazard a guess that if they don't appear in the packaging they may not be legitimate. No issues here. Tested with watercolours and no bleeding or smudging. All pens in working order.

This product has pros and Con's: Pro's -**Sakura Pigma Micron Pens: A Comprehensive Review** **Pros:** 1. **Variety of Tip Sizes:** One of the standout features of the Sakura Pigma Micron Pens is the wide range of tip sizes available, from ultra-fine 005 to bold 1mm brush. This variety allows for versatile line work and artistic expression across different projects. 2. **Consistent Ink Flow:** These pens are renowned for their consistent ink flow, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted lines without blotching or skipping. This reliability makes them ideal for precise detailing and intricate artwork. 3. **Archival Quality:** The Pigma ink used in these pens is archival quality, meaning it is waterproof, fade-resistant, and chemically stable. This ensures that your artwork remains vibrant and intact over time, making them suitable for professional use and archival purposes. 4. **Versatility:** Whether you're sketching, illustrating, writing, or engaging in intricate art projects, Sakura Pigma Micron Pens offer versatility across various mediums including paper, fabric, and wood. 5. **Durable Tips:** The tips of these pens are durable and resistant to fraying, even with regular use. This durability ensures longevity, making them a cost-effective choice for artists and designers. 6. **Comfortable Grip:** The ergonomic design of the pens provides a comfortable grip, reducing hand fatigue during extended periods of use. This is particularly beneficial for artists who engage in detailed work. 7. **Quick Drying:** The ink dries quickly, minimizing smudging and allowing for immediate layering and blending techniques without compromising the quality of the artwork. **Cons:** 1. **Price:** While the quality of Sakura Pigma Micron Pens is undeniable, the price point may be considered relatively high compared to some other disposable pens. This could deter budget-conscious consumers, particularly those who are just starting out in art or design. 2. **Limited Color Range:** While these pens excel in black ink, the color range is somewhat limited compared to other art supplies. This may be a drawback for artists who require a wider spectrum of colors for their projects. 3. **Ink Refills Not Available:** Unlike some other pens, Sakura Pigma Micron Pens are not refillable. Once the ink runs out, the entire pen needs to be replaced, which can be less eco-friendly and potentially more costly in the long run. And when you use the fine liner on work done by a pencil, it will dry out. 4. **Susceptible to Bleeding on Certain Papers:** While the ink is generally quick-drying and resistant to smudging, it may bleed through or feather on certain types of paper, particularly thinner or lower-quality paper. This could limit the pens' suitability for specific projects or preferences. 5. **Prone to Clogging:** Although the ink flow is generally consistent, the fine tips of Sakura Pigma Micron Pens may be prone to clogging, especially if not used regularly or if exposed to dust or debris. Regular cleaning and proper storage are recommended to maintain optimal performance. 6. **Not Suitable for Large-scale Work:** While these pens excel in intricate detailing and fine lines, their small tip sizes may not be suitable for larger-scale artwork or projects requiring broad strokes. Artists looking for pens specifically for large-scale work may need to explore alternative options. Overall, Sakura Pigma Micron Pens are a popular choice among artists and designers for their consistent performance, versatility, and archival-quality ink. While they may have some drawbacks such as price and limited color range, their reliability and precision make them a valuable addition to any artist's toolkit.
