The cover fit perfectly for the measurement that I took for my cockpit. Although mine has not been exposed to the elements, the material of the cover is sturdy and should hold up well. No vacancy for kayak critters.

These are really only used as covers and nothing more. Very Very basic and you do get what you pay for here. I was hoping it would stretch a bit more for my kayak - however you will want to make sure you get the correct size. Will serve it's purpose for storage.

We have sturdy single-person kayaks, with an oval opening. This cover fits, and I picked the best size option, but it isn't perfect. The elastic is strong, but I cannot see a way to tighten it. Once I get the cover on, there is still some slack, so if it rains while the kayak is upright, the water pools and can eventually weigh down the cover and pour into the cockpit. It isn't a huge problem, but I have to watch how I store them and monitor for water pools if the kayak is right-side-up. I would buy this product again, but wish I could figure out a way to take up the slack and tighten it a bit.

Doesn’t fit! Falls off! Size chart isn’t correct.

I bought one in 2014, 49/21 and it fit perfectly. It was time to get a new one so I ordered (early July) a 49/22. It came and it did NOT fit. My kayak had NOT grown. But with my husband and I, we still couldn't make it fit. Also, the "fastener" mechanism on the ropes is new. It's one plastic long cylinder. The previous one had 2 "fasteners" that adjusted. Much better design. I returned the 49/22 (still haven't gotten my money back and I had to pay postage) and ordered a 52/22 through Harmony since Amazon didn't have that size available. I figured with the extra 4 inches, it would be perfect. NOT. My husband and I had to struggle to get it on. This is crazy. I hope the cover stretches. Also, I took the fasteners from the old cover and used it on the new one. I hope the tightening ropes don't come out of the fasteners because the ropes are cut VERY short. I must have at most 1/4" of extra rope beyond the fastener. With the older model, I had inches. I'm sure they are trying to save money, but the changes they made are awful. I'm still on the lookout for a better cover.

Did not fit-shape was not the same as my kayak. Front to back & port to starbord dimemsions were OK, however the shape was not an oval-more tapered on the back. Would not streach to a more oval shape.
