What is the depth of the cut? Or rather, how long is the point?

The triangular-shaped blade is about 1/8' long. Of course, for getting out splinters, you would be just using the point to probe very shallowly.

I use them for popping pimples. I believe you would be successful with popping blisters. They have a very small sharp point.
