SmartFun Design Two-in-One Ice Cream Cable Protector for Apple IPhone 5, 5s, 5SE, 6, 6s, 7, 7 Plus Original Lightning to USB Cable & IPhone Stand Holder (Pistachio)

Once I got the cone onto the cable, it fit snuggly but well. I am actually pleasantly surprised at all the different ways to use this product (see the pictures above on Amazon). But, I wish there was something included with the packaging that explained this. It only came with a simple set of instructions to place the product onto your cord. The suction cup stuck very well to my metal lamp, but not well to my wooden nightstand. These lightning cables always seem to be breaking, but it does seem that this product will do a very good job in protecting it! I received the product at a discounted rate in exchange for an honest review.

First - this was a little challenging to put on my cable. Once on though, it is a perfect fit for my original cable. This is perfect as my son can grab the cone vs. pulling and breaking the cable itself. I did notice that this will not fit some after market cables, depending on the size of the Lightning piece. This is understandable, as it needs to be a snug fit, but I'd love to have one for some of my other cables too. The suction cup 'ice cream' is also perfect - when you unplug your phone, just stick that to the shelf and you no longer have to reach around the floor to find it.As a disclaimer, I did receive this product at a reduced price, but this did not impact my review at all.
