The product works well. We filled with water. One of the segments was leaking so I contacted the company and they sent me out a replacement segment quite quickly. Good customer service. Good product even if a bit expensive.

This is the perfect base if you dont want that umbrella to go anywhere. I have had mine a few yrs now and can say its in perfect shape and has never fallen even in the worst storms.

Does what it needs to. Do NOT overtighten the caps after you fill it up. I tried to fill one with sand but after 45 minutes I didn’t feel like doing the rest. Very small opening. So I did the last 3 with just water.

Do not buy this product, it is designed to fail and someone will get hurt. It does not work, the design where the weights fit between the legs is utterly absurd. With the slightest breeze the legs of the umbrella were just lifting out from between the weights. The pins to hold them together dont lock in or anything so they are not functional in a way that can reliably secure it. Returning after my umbrella fell over multiple times in only light wind even with 200 lbs of sand in the weights.

These would be great for sand water leaks out of mine. They’re not the best. Ok value for the money.

They are sturdy, easy to fill with water and definitely crucial when you purchase the side umbrella.

We order a box of these, and 3 of the weights had holes in them and could not hold any water. We ordered a second box, and one of them had a huge hole in it!! If these were made to actually hold water, they would actually work really great.
