Worked perfectly for 9 months, until I started taking my fitness seriously.
Let me start here. This is a good cheap entry level smartwatch to use for a few months as you decide whether a smartwatch is a good device that would actually be useful for you, and from there you can decide whether or not you want to take the plunge on higher end watch devices — whether centered around lifestyle or fitness, give up wanting a smartwatch at all, or keep buying these lower end watches that are a great value with basic functions. This band worked as expected for the past 9 months while I've lived a fairly inactive life. Now I'm training for an ultramarathon and within the first week of actually using the band as a serious fitness tracker, the screen popped out of the case during a 13 mile run and won't stay back in.Fortunately, I was fixing to upgrade to a more serious tracker with a more reliable GPS and heart rate tracking; this little mishap just accelerated that purchase. I'm upgrading a Garmin Enduro 2. This is a big step, but one that I'm confident in, and I wouldn't have that confidence if it wasn't for the past few months that I've spent with the mi band 6 in my life.Still, you'll notice I'm giving this tracker five stars, and that's no accident. This device is an incredible value for $40. If you're satisfied with the basic features and won't take this fitness tracker on many extreme workouts, it's a great way to save hundreds of dollars on one of the higher-end fitness bands that do many of the same things.I got this band mainly as a vibrating alarm clock, a sleep tracker, and a device that would vibrate when I got texts/calls so I could keep my phone silent for all other notifications — and the mi band 6 succeeded wonderfully with each of these assignments. But I wasn't yet taking my fitness seriously, so when I started putting it to the test in fitness, that's where the band started to fall short.Get this band as a lifestyle smartwatch and expect basic reliability for step counting, sleep tracking, and other fitness features. But this is not a replacement for a higher-end fitness gadget that you can really depend on if you are the kind of person who needs reliable data on their workouts. Expect this to last a few months with good care, and serve has a good stepping stone to other smartwatches.

I totally love this tracker, tricky to sync to Google Fit and Virgin Pulse
I love this Smart Band, best one I have ever had, very accurate, but let me tell you that I almost returned it the next day I received it because I was not able to sync with Google Fit and Virgin Pulse (I get rewards $). I open box, charged the unit, proceed to scan the code to download the ap that came in the booklet. Unfortunately, that ap did not sync with Google fit which is linked to Virgin Pulse, so I was not getting any data transferred from the band watch to neither of the other two aps. I almost gave up, I even requested a return, but I did some digging and watched some you tube videos and buala!!!!! I tried one last thing and downloaded the ZEPP LIFE AP (Formerly Mi Fit) and I was able to zinc all my aps now! Here's what you need to do if something like this happens to you. Download the Zepp Life Ap. After you create an account etc, click on profile ( see screen shot 2), then click on "Add Accounts" and select Google Fit...you are all set!. If yo also want to sync with Virgin Pulse, just open ap, click profile in the bottom right, click Devices & Apps, My connected Devices and apps, and select Google Fit. I love that I can track my sleep (which is not enough LOL), Steps, receive call, text, Watsap, email notifications (can't respond but I don't care). You can customize the face of the watch, as well of the brightness, program watch for low light while you sleep, check oxigen level, heart rate, weather, and a lot of other things you can do, there's a ton of great tip videos in you tube. I bought replacement bands that are really cool as well so I exchange bands every other day. Overall this is an amazing band at an incredible price with tons of features. I LOVE IT!!!!!

Good for a budget.
I got this to keep track of my sleep for sleep apnea, pure and simple. For that, it kind of works. I can see roughly when I woke up, when Im in REM sleep, and roughly how long I was asleep. As of this week, Im on call for work. I have been woken up early every morning for the past 3 days. Tuesday and Wednesday both at 6:30. Tuesday correctly shows the 2:30 am wakeup call, Wednesday shows I had light sleep until 6:41, and today it rightfully showed that I was awake from 5 to 6:30 am for a call. Its not completely reliable but it gives me an idea of where I was. I do see REM sleep and that matches roughly when I would have had a dream. I wake up for a few minutes long enough to flip over or tell my dog to move, or to let her back under the covers. That does not get recorded. The app stores sleep data for several months but your options to view it are weekly, monthly, yearly, and daily. Only daily shows a break down by hour and if you want to view something from a specific date you need to tap each day until you get to the right one.For Stress tracking, theres gaps in the day. The app also only stores 1 day worth of stress app that I can see.Blood Oxygen/SpO2 either needs to be turned on manually or it does not work. It tracks the same way sleep does. The last time it tracked my activities was on 9/23 almost 3 months ago.Heart rate tracking will keep the months data and thats about it. You can view each day or view a rough average (so it seems) from each day.It sinks up my daily steps with google fit which is somewhat nice. My scale syncs with google fit as well. The band has some nice customization. You can change what happens when you swipe left or right from the main face plate. Swiping right for me takes me to my most frequent activities, which is customizable itself. Swiping left takes me to todays weather and a 5 day forcast. Swiping up or down takes you through status (steps for the last 7 days), PAI (havent looked into it honestly), heart rate over view for the day, SPo2 monitoring, Sleep monitoring for the last 7 days with the time it thinks you fell asleep and woke up last night, notifications for text messages, workout history, stress level, guided breathing exercise, event reminders (disabled for me), alarms (I use 2 a day. One for waking up, one to go to bed) that buzz to get your attention, weather, world clock to see the time in different areas of the world, settings, workouts, and "more".The text message alert vibrates for a moment and they stay on screen for about 5 seconds. I like this feature so I can keep my phone on silent while at work but feel a buzz on my wrist to know that I got a text vs feeling a buzz in my pocket that might be another work email I want to ignore. Settings is mostly for things like sleep timer, brightness, the look of the screen, do not disturb, and a factory reset. "More" is for a flashlight, timer, camera clicker, stopwatch, silent, and my favorite, find device which makes your phone play its default rington where if its located within 30 feet or so of the watch. The watch is "customizable" in that it comes with 3 default screens installed on the device and you can not remove them but you can go to the "store" in the app settings and download more bands. They Most of them are not my taste but I believe there should be at least one likeable choice for everyone. The default watch face isn't even bad. Now, it sounds good or decent, but not great. There are some flaws. The advertisement boasts that its water resistant and it is right. How ever, if you get water on the screen and it makes contact with something else other then water, like even a bath towel while in the shower, it will be enough to trick the screen into thinking a human is swiping on it. I have had to reset my display several times because the skin/faceplate I was using got removed. You can also remove it by accident in your sleep as I have done several times. I want to test it while swimming but due to covid the pools in my area are limited. It boasts of a 14 day battery life but most of the time I only get 7 days use out of it. Charging is easy though. If I had a plug in for it in my bathroom I could charge it while Im in the shower, thats the only time I take it off so the wet screen doesn't accidently bump something.Lastly, the wrist band is mostly secure but there have been times where I have slightly rubbed it against something going about my day and it has come undone. Thankfully I wear long sleeves or I would have lost it for good. The app that is used for this also kicked me out and lost my account after the first week or so of using this. Once I noticed I made another account which has not been lost/kicked out since.Would I buy this again knowing this stuff? Yeah, probably. For $50 its over all good but not great. Im not into wearables and Im not active all the time but using this as a rough idea of what Ive been doing fitness wise is nice. I know the google/samsung/apple watches also do calls through them. Those watches also have reviews stating they are slightly off. Saving $150 to lose the ability to make calls is a great trade off to me to not feel like I was screwed out of something thats not 100% accurate.
