It may be worn over any EltaMD moisturizer such as Barrier Renewal Complex or oil-free AM Therapy. **Q: Whats the purpose of a tinted sunscreen?** A: The original purpose of tinted sunscreens was to tint the white minerals to blend better with skin. The reason this doesn't come in multiple tints is that its not intended to replace a foundation but rather just make minerals easier to blend into skin--any skin. its lighter than many skin tones, but still darker than the white color of minerals. Having said that, with my moderately light white skintone, this does help blur imperfections and cover some redness, so I find I dont need foundation after using it. **Q: Are their different tint colors?** A: No. Just lightly tinted. **Q: Will this stain clothing? I'd like to put it on my upper chest/neck.** A: Yes, it does. I try and wear dark colored clothing when I wear this sunscreen to keep it from showing. Most of the times I can get the sunscreen stain out when I scrub the clothing with Fels Naptha or something like that. I also use the non-tinted 50 spf EltaMD sunscreen on my neck and sometimes face as well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tinted, 6+ months *by M***M on April 2, 2023* This lasted me over 7 months of daily use. I use four pea-sized drops per day, dabbing each drop three times. (Forehead dab left right middle, cheek bottom top middle, etc) That spreads it well. I like the product. I don't wear any makeup. When I was comparing colors pre-purchase, I wasn't sure if I would go with the white/clear or with the lightly tinted, because I didn't want to have a warm colored foundation on my cool colored skin, but I have a discolored red patch on my forehead that I hoped would be hidden. The product soaks into my skin and is tinted enough that it covers up the discolored patch. (The one and only day I tried the transparent version, my 9-year-old son asked me what was wrong with my forehead. So I'm not interested in trying that one ever again if I have this tinted option.) I do have to make sure that I rub it in enough, cuz it can look a little streaky, because the liquid is quite thick and kind of clumpy. That's the only part I don't like. I generally have to use two or three pea sized drops in sections. I have to watch the edges by my hair to make sure they blend in. I also have to go under my jawline so that the color reaches into the shadow to blend it on my neck; otherwise it's visible. It completely soaks in, so it doesn't feel like makeup at all. I'm very white and fine with that and wanted to keep my natural color, so I also worried that the tint was going to make me look tan or something. I'm not sure how much browner I look, but it must be some if it covers up the patch. I feel like the product works. I haven't gotten any sunburns. I'm very happy and plan to continue buying it. I've been using it daily for several weeks, and the bottle feels maybe half full.
