Network issues

- Has a Notification LED. This is a great news. Noone makes phones with LED anymore.- No option to control it. Larger than HTC One M9, smaller than HTC U Ultra. No option to disable it or change settings.- Solid Green: Fully charged- Solid Orange: Charging.- Solid Red: Low Battery.- Blinking Green: New message notification.- Blinking both Green/Red: 2 or more notifications from 2 sources or from 2 contacts.- No Crapware. Only 1 app and was removable.- No Wi-Fi Calling option.- No Digit Badges on Icons.- Same HTC Weather App- Same HTC Clock and Alarm App- Same HTC Notification Sounds.- No HTC Mail. Stock Gmail only.- Fast and smooth web browsing.- Mic and Speaker better than 3 Motos I have tried.- Must enter ENTER when piccode. No option to skip.- Camera OK.- Screen OK.- No stereo speakers.- Speaker on the bottom. Not loud enought. But OK.- I wish speaker were front firing.- No Power Button Double Press for Camera.- Dual SIM. When 1 SIM installed, no option to choice SIM cards. When Installed second SIM - select SIM option appears.- To use 2nd SIM card, you must remove SD card.- Does not pick up 5G in my area. Maybe different radio in US than supported by this phone.- Android 10 only. No 11 yet as October 8 2021.- Fast and smooth interface. 90Hz.- No option to Close All Open Apps- Note to HTC fans: Installed Microsoft Launcher to mimic HTC Sense and Digit Badges. Works very well. Has no ads and you can make it look like old HTC home.Overall satisfied. Zero crapware. Fast. Simple. Notification LED.

Was bad not working properly.

I have used HTC phones for years. Love the latest features they were trying out and they always had the best camera. I was underwhelmed by the features provided and those they removed from previous versions of their phones.However, what made me write this review was the only network it worked with was AT&T and they just stopped providing service to this device because apparently it only does 3G speeds and won't connect to the 4G & 5G networks in the US. AT&T is shutting down all 3G support which includes this phone. I wanted to warn anyone else about buying this phone, because now months after purchasing it I will have to try to afford a new phone. Since I no longer can return it.

It's bulkier than I imagined compared to my HTC u11 I thought it would've been an upgrade but I'm disappointed even with the camera quality which is supposed to be higher than the HTC u11. It didn't come with original HTC accessories so that was also disappointing. But it works, it turns on, has a great battery life at the moment. The fingerprint reader is not that great, I've had quite a bit of challenges, it doesn't always readily recognise my fingerprint. The screen is beautiful.
