This is a solid product and well worth the price. If you need a suit of armor on a budget, this is perfect. Let me start with the faults. First, the armor arrives well packed in bubble wrap and plastic, but it is covered in some sort of grease. If you order it, have a spray bottle of ZEP Heavy-Duty Degreaser on hand; you will need to spend about 20 minutes degreasing the armor immediately. But is this really a fault? Armies have stored metal implements in pig grease for centuries to preserve them, and it worked. The armor arrived shiny and in excellent shape. Good on the seller! Second, the armor has multiple jagged metal edges. Get a file set from your local hardware store, because you will need to spend about two hours rounding those edges. It is irritating, but this is probably why we are paying $400 for this armor rather than $1,000. I would rather pay $400 and break out the file set. Now for the positive aspects of the armor set. It should fit a wide range of body types. I am 6 feet tall and 230 pounds, with broad shoulders. I fall between a large and extra-large in shirts, and I wear size 34 pants. The armor fits me well and should accommodate a wider range of bodies because it arrives in about eight pieces and uses adjustable straps. Each strap has about four positions, so I would expect the armor to fit well across many body types. The only part of the armor that does not adjust is the sleeve portion—the “vambrace”—which fits around the wrist and must also allow your hand to pass through. It is a solid cylindrical metal tube with a 3.75-inch opening diameter and a 5.5-inch diameter at the back. Your hand needs to fit through a 3.75-inch opening, and your wrist cannot be much larger than about 5 inches in diameter. I am lean and have medium-sized hands, so this was no trouble for me. Gym rats, beware. Otherwise, the clever use of straps ensures that this armor fits a wide range of bodies. The metal is high quality and of good thickness, but be aware that there is no interior padding. The finish has enough sheen that I can roughly see my reflection. The articulation is excellent: it is comfortable and flexible enough that I can jog while wearing it, and I have a good range of motion. The armor breathes well and is suitable for both outdoor and indoor use. The appearance is highly realistic, matches the product image, and faithfully reflects the Gothic armor style prevalent during the later battles of the Wars of the Roses.

Product was exactly as described, full steel and oiled. We’re very excited about it. I wish I had instructions to make sure I got all the straps right cause it is a two person job but it all came together in the end. The box came wrecked and the steel edges of one piece was rusted, but we were able to buff it out. Over all this was a great purchase and have already recommended this company to others. Man in picture is 6ft about 220lbs and it fits great

Overall i was very pleased with the armor. Obviously a few changes and customizing to fit each individual is to be expected. I am 6’/235 dad bod type and i can wear it comfortably.

I like it alot. It fits good and looks good. Can't beat the price either. Make sure to send your body measurements for better fit!

Will definitely need to be fitted because it’s much too small in some areas and doesn’t fit together, and needs to be bent and reshaped in others. Also, the edges on a lot of it are extremely sharp, and cut us multiple times even just getting it all out of the box. Would highly recommend wearing thick gloves because the edges on some pieces are like literal razor blades. Makes putting it on quite nerve racking.

The armor fits well except for some straps being too short, notably the thigh/upper leg armor straps are about 3-4 inches too short to buckle on bare skin, let alone anything thicker like chain or padding. I am 5'8" 180lbs, everything fits pretty well once you get the positioning down. Gaps or loose areas can be tightened by gently shaping the armor in or out to an extent. There are some sharp edges that will absolutely need to be filed to be safe to handle or wear. Overall, a fantastic piece of kit for the price, excellent value.

Requires adjustment to fit correctly but that was expected, great purchase and excellent value for money

何度か着用してみて 大腿部の部分が長すぎて膝当てが膝下に来る(当方身長180センチ) 本来大腿部を吊るす専用のベルトがあるらしいがズボンのベルトで代用したせいもあるかも 他だと何倍もする 兜とガントレットは既に持ってたのでちょうど良かった あとは膝下だけ

The nautical mart team did a fantastic job. Item fits great. I submitted my measurements and they were able to accommodate my larger build. 6'2" and 120kg. Highly recommend contacting them for larger fellows to ensure a great fit
