Best caulk on the market!
Soft, smooth, thick and creamy perfect for filling in the gaps of my old tongue and groove ceiling. Acrylic clarity, makes it invisible to see. It’s odorless, easy to work with, sturdy and durable. The white is a true white, bright and beautiful. I painted over the caulk because it has a matte finish and my ceiling paint is a semi-gloss. Extremely versatile and can adhere to almost anything and dries very quickly. The mix of materials really makes this one the best! 5-stars, great quality and value, highly recommend!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Smooth Application and Clean Finish”
Used this to reseal around my bathtub and a few kitchen edges, and it worked exactly like I hoped. The consistency was easy to work with—not too runny, not too thick—and smoothed out nicely with just a damp finger or finishing tool. It dried bright white and gave everything a clean, professional look. No weird smell, and it set up quickly enough that I wasn’t sitting around waiting all day. After a few weeks, there’s been no cracking, peeling, or discoloration. ✅ Bottom Line: Great caulk if you want something reliable and easy to work with. Makes a big difference in how clean everything looks afterward. Would definitely buy again.

Great for trim, but keep it away from the heat!
I used this DAP Alex Plus Acrylic Latex Caulk with Silicone to seal up some interior baseboards and window trim. Overall, it’s a very solid 4 out of 5 because it is incredibly user-friendly. It applies smoothly, cleans up easily with just a damp cloth, and you can paint over it in about 30 minutes. However, I ran into a major issue in areas with high temperature exposure. While the service temperature is rated up to 180°F, I found that it cracks under high temperatures or in spots with direct, intense sun. It seems to lose its flexibility when it gets too hot, leading to visible splitting in the bead. If you are using this near a radiator, a sunny south-facing window, or a kitchen backsplash near the stove, you might want to reconsider. Pros: • Paint-Ready: Dries fast (30 mins) so you can get to painting quickly. • Low Odor: Safe to use indoors without strong chemical smells. • Cost-Effective: Very affordable compared to high-end elastomeric sealants. Cons: • Temperature Sensitivity: Prone to cracking and shrinking when exposed to heat or significant expansion/contraction. • Shrinkage: In larger gaps, it tends to pull away as it dries. If you’re doing standard interior trim in a climate-controlled room, this is the best way to go. But for high-heat areas, I’d suggest stepping up to an elastomeric sealant like Big Stretch.

Smooth Application and Clean Finish
The DAP Alex Plus caulk is one I’ve used plenty of times, and it never lets me down. It goes on smooth, easy to control with a caulk gun, and cleans up with just water. It sticks well to wood, drywall, and trim, and once it dries, you can paint right over it without any issues. The finish looks professional, no cracking or shrinking after it sets. For touch-ups or full projects, this stuff is reliable and affordable — a good go-to for anyone who does their own repairs or remodeling.

Smooth application, dries fast and paintable
This caulk is easy to apply! not too runny, not too stiff. It lays down a clean bead and smooths out easily with a damp finger, so even a beginner can get neat results. Adhesion is strong on wood and drywall, and it didn’t peel when I tested it against painted surfaces. It skins over in about 30 minutes and was ready for paint in a couple of hours. Once I painted, it blended seamlessly with no flashing. The odor is very mild compared to silicone, so it was fine for indoor use. A few months in & it’s still holding tight!! There are no cracks, shrinking, or yellowing. For heavy-duty outdoor jobs I’d go with a stronger sealant, but for trim, molding, and general indoor use this one is reliable and easy to work with.

Good caulk, does the job
Does what it says and what I bought it for. Got it as a set of 2x10 oz for as good price here, well worth it. Just prep the surfaces and let it cure out for at least 24h before getting it wet, and then it seems to last. General tip with caulk: wiping the surfaces (sides of the tiles that you're placing the caulk in between) clean with some 70% (or higher) isopropanol can help with adhesion. Just wait for 5 minutes to the let the isopropanol dry off Again, certainly not bad caulk for the price.
