Drove myself a little nuts trying to seal the ancient weatherstripping on my ’04 commuter before rainy season. This tube actually stuck to the old rubber trim and the metal door frame without a fight. I ran a thin bead, let it tack up for a minute, then pressed the gasket in and held it for a bit. It stayed put. Next morning the door closed with that nice solid thump instead of a hollow whistle. I’m a remote dev and hate losing focus to wind noise on calls, so this was weirdly satisfying. The tube looks small but I fixed two doors adn a trunk with it.

Got this to fix some gaps around my door frame. it works pretty well, holding the weatherstripping securely in place. i used it at home during a weekend repair project, and it did the job as expected. the tube is small, so you don’t get a lot of product, but for small fixes, it’s handy. on the downside, it doesn’t dry super fast, so you need to hold things in place for a bit longer. overall, it’s a decent option if you need something reliable for sealing up gaps. would consider it if you’re doing a quick weatherproofing job.

A little bit goes a long way. It's super stringy. You'll need to be extra careful not to get it everywhere. Probably shouldn't try to use it when it's 114° outside either, as I did. I held the rubber trim down with painters tape and let it sit for a number of hours. Seems to be holding up so far. As for waiting for it to become tacky...I'm not sure how you're supposed to do that? I just applied it , added tape and that was it.

Good product but it comes out a little runny and drys fast so i suggest applying to both materials you are glueing together and old or clamp it, working a small section at a time. Once dry it a pretty hard. Wear gloves. Hope this helps.

I needed to reinstall some plasticized covers on a running board on a Toyota Tacoma. The plastic was attached to the chrome running board and they came loose. I researched to see what I needed to do in order to make sure the plastic adhered to the chrome. This item came up as the best product. I cleaned both surfaces, and lightly buffed the chrome with 220 grit sandpaper and applied the adhesive to both surfaces. I let them both dry for about 3 - 5 minutes and placed the cover onto the running board. I wrapped the cover with bungy cords and let them cure for about 24 hours; at which time I removed the bungy cords and tested them to see if they were going to stick and hold to the chrome. The items are solidly attached now, with amazing adherence! This adhesive is super strong! I highly recommend it. Just make sure that when you are ready to place the two parts together, that you have them in the exact position you want them to be in, because where you place them, is where they will stay!!

These days I fix more than I replace, so my son suggested this 3M adhesive for the loose door gasket on my old Honda. Thick and sticky, but it stays where you put it. I cleaned the rubber, ran a thin bead, then held it a minute. Drove through a heavy rain and the seal stayed tight, which made me glad we tried this.

Works fantastic. After a few other products failed to hold door seals,this was fantastic. Worked in minutes and continues to hold.
