They work great! I followed the instructions of watering my plants well first and soaked the clay pieces overnight before inserting them into the plant soil. The water in the upturned bottle is slowly being distributed into the soil. I am practicing using them on larger indoor plants now and am excited to use them outside in my deck planters once the warm weather comes. What a great solution to keeping potted plants soil evenly moist.

I used these when I went out of town for several weeks. They appeared to do very well (at least my plants didn't die). When I came home after 2 weeks, the bottles were empty but the soil was sufficiently moist. These are indoor plants mind you. I read another review that commented to be careful outside as the sun can dry out the clay stakes.

I was dubious but this waterer has rejuvenated The Ficus at our weekend place. It used to suffer dryness then over-watering but is now lush and healthy.

These seem to work pretty well. I've been using them for about a month. Have to make sure you use them in plants that want to have constantly moist soil as they do keep the soil in the spot you place them quite damp. May need more than one stake per plant for larger pots.

I have been really pleased with these, I no longer have to worry about keeping my plants watered. They are great.

These are terrific. However, when they absorb water they become fragile, easy to break. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Just be careful when putting bottle back in.

These work GREAT and hold a lot..

One broke the first time I used it, but the other 3 are just fine and work very well. Since there's been a drought in my area, they really came in handy!
