The big difference to look for is the Original Lava that doesn't say with moisturizers. It is the only one that has no scent. But the only way to buy it is as a 6 pack. **Q: how long do 1 soap bar last?** A: I use Lava as my only soap. 3 months for washing hands/face (exfoliates). 1.5 months for showers. Hope this helps. **Q: how many bars do you get?** A: I received one single bar of Lava soap, however, due to the abundance of many gritty particles it's not inclined to be all that foamy when used to wash hands, so it does seem to last much longer than a typical bar of soap..My Lava bar soap lasted longer than 5 months, and I used it frequently..Hope this helps. **Q: "pack of 1"---"twin pack"?? confusing! which is it? one bar or two?** A: This is a single twin-pack = 2 bars total, which is the typical way Lava is sold. You can also buy multiple twin-packs, which I've had to do since my grocery store quit carrying it. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tough on grime, perfect for heavy-duty jobs *by on Reviewed in the United States 19 April 2026* Lava heavy-duty soap works great for the paving job my son has. It does an excellent job cutting through dirt, grease, and grime—way better than regular soap. It’s especially helpful after long workdays when his hands are really dirty. Gets them clean without a ton of scrubbing.Definitely recommend for anyone doing hands-on, messy work! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lava Soap *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 20 May 2016* These soaps I bought at a Five and Dime shop in Texas, and was pleased to find them on Amazon, and it does remove paint from hands and other hard to remove dirt ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Soap not Gel *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 25 April 2020* Works well. Wasn’t expecting a bar of soap though as would have preferred using gel. ## Frequently Bought Together - Lava Heavy-Duty Hand Cleaner with Moisturizers, 5.75 OZ - Lava Heavy-Duty Hand Cleaner with Moisturizers, Professional Line, 4 OZ - Konex Non-Slip Wooden Two-sided Hand and Nail Brush.
