Does 99031 reach and clean combo pack come with 1-piece cleaning tool or 2-piece (handle detaches, can screw in pole handle)? any extra bonnets?

In the 95160 kit, I received 1 cleaning tool with swivel handle, 1 screw-on handle with foam grip, 2 bonnets. Exactly as shown in the picture. I did not need the 99031 kit since the only difference is the spray cleaner itself. I had plenty at home. So yes, if you leave the handle off, you could use another, longer extension but for cleaning the windshield on the inside, this set is perfect.

Would you recommend this product for cleaning the exterior of the windshield?

Absolutely! Great for reaching on larger windshields.
