I've installed multiple shower bases from other manufacturers and they have recommended fastening the flanges on the three concealed sides with nails or screws. I assumed this was to help keep the base from flexing.The ELEGANT base came with meager instructions but it is so solid I chose to simply place it on a bed of mortar and walk on the base to make sure it was embedded and level. The bottom has small dimples to make it less slippery and the drain "trough" adds an upscale look. Very satisfied!

I originally planned to install a tile shower floor but took a chance on this model being solid and firm on the feet. I didn't want the "bounce" my one-piece had. This base , especially installed with mortar as recommended, is rock-hard and looks excellent. I highly recommend after doing quite a bit of research.

I received my order o problems and so happy to install. The cast is off on the hole and the drain does not fit properly. The company will not replace and wants me to package it back up return it they inspect it and then maybe replace. This already cost hundreds of dollars and will cost another couple hundred to try to ship back to consumers. Maybe I can find a contractor to rig it to work ??
