I’ve been looking for a blanket for the hot Las Vegas summer since I normally use a weighted blanket and it just has gotten way too hot. I purchased another lightweight blanket from Amazon months ago that had good reviews but it still was too warm even though it was lightweight so I decided to give this one a go since it had a coupon. It is honestly great. The cooling side is so chilly and silky it really really does help to cool me off. I agree with some of the others that the opposite side is a little rough since it’s like a microfiber cloth but it’s really not too bad once you get used to it; but that side is not the side I use anyway. Would highly recommend!

I am writing this review as there are cute tly only 306 reviews on this item. I'm literally shocked that there there aren't thousands. This blanket is literally a hot sleeper's dream. Everyone deserves to know about this. I bought it on a whim, after returning 3 more popular "cooling" blankets. They didn't work for me. This one does.There is a warm side for slightly cooler nights and an extra cool side for all the other nights. Good bye night sweats! I love this blanket so much I even take it on vacations with me.Trust me, it works guys, it really does.

This blanket is amazing! I have already recommended it to several people and even ordered one for a co-workers wife! Being almost 50 and suddenly becoming a hot sleeper with night sweats, this blanket has been a life saver. At first, I went to sleep with the blanket on top of my sheet; however, sharing the bed with my husband made this difficult and he didn't want the "ice blanket" as he calls it, touching him. Then I resorted to sleeping with the blanket directly on me and the sheet on top. However, now that the seasons are changing and the weather is cooling down, I keep the blanket next to my bed and if I wake up hot in the middle of the night, I stand up, lay the blanket down on my side of the bed, then lay down on top of it, and then fold the blanket over myself so I get the cooling effect from both sides! It's my own little cooling sleeping bag and I absolutely love it! So far I have only used the cooling side and the technology in this blanket amazes me. With the blanket sitting off to the side of the bed now, every time I pick it up to fold it or move it, the cold feeling of it makes me smile every single time.

The only downfall is it gets heavy when u try to lift it all at once and if your hot hot then the cooling side isn't all that but definitely keeps u cool in warmish temperatures. Very heavy when wash keep that in mind

I don't know why I waited till I was 54 to try and sleep comfortably in the summer. I need to cover up in bed always. winter I use a 14oz down comforter. less than 1lb and is good to 45dgr. to warm for summer. I see this but 4lbs and the price was high. took the chance. anyone that uses regular blankets will be fine with weight. even I had no problem. it's 2-sided with the striped side is cooler and smoother. the plain side is like microfiber and would feel warmer. it keeps you warm while keeping cool. sounds weird. the layers are only connected at the seam. so if you fan the blanket the middle fills with air and instantly is even cooler. I love it but $10 less would be 5 stars.

I have two of these for the boys in my family. They sweat terribly year round. This helps keep them cool and reduces the amount of night waking up soaked. It's a great buy and I'd buy it again.
