Unbelievable! My kids had a rash on their wrists for weeks. I tried Manuka honey, tea tree oil, and nothing worked. ONE night and it’s completely gone. It smells awful and it’s a dark blue/green color but the healing properties are out of this world. I am actually going to try incorporating it I to my moisturizing routine.

I ordered this German Chamomile vs Roman specifically for its therapeutic effects on eczema. I bought this to make an eczema salve for my son. I am familiar with the quality of Plant Therapy EO’s and their KidSafe line so I knew I needed this and didn’t bother to read the description or any reviews. Needless to say I was a bit surprised to see its dark blue color upon arrival! No biggie but it did take me by surprise and since it’s for a salve I just have to be mindful of when and how I apply it as to not discolor clothing/furniture/etc. I have never used chamomile oil (German or otherwise) so I was not familiar with the scent either. It has an interesting scent...almost smells like a really strong rotting fruit smell and slightly peppery. I wouldn’t say that it “stinks” or that it’s unbearable but it isn’t very soothing or pleasant either. If you plan to use this in a salve or other mixture like I have, then know that the strong scent will be diluted along with the color once all mixed together. Despite what I’ve mentioned above, I’m very happy with it and in less than 24 hours of topical use with the salve, my sons eczema appears less angry. German chamomile is very therapeutic for eczema so I feel if it’s not completely responsible for the healing, then it definitely has contributed and is working well for what I needed it for. For anyone interested, I also purchased Plant Therapy (organic and KidSafe) bergamot, lavender and tea tree oils for this eczema salve as well.

It works beautifully in my face serum. The scent is clean and fresh. The liquid is thick.. to allow the dropper to work, you need to: 1) remove the cap. 2) cover the top with a clean piece of Saran wrap. 3) reverse bottle so the opening is down, and submerge it in hot water (NOT boiling, just hot). In 2-3 seconds, you should be able to decant the drops easily.
