It fits in my Tundra truck and two Priuses. It is easy and quick to put on and take off - usually to dump beach sand out of the car seat cover. I like the way it stays in place. , The hammock covers the gap between the back seat and the front seat back, allowing my dog to lean on the back of the passenger seat where he feels more stable and secure. There is no way for him to fall off the back seat with this hammock design. My dog weighs about 55 lbs and is gentle on the cover. I'm not sure how well the strap attachments would hold up with a very heavy or rowdy dog's weight on them, but it would be easy to reinforce them with a few stitches if needed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Seat Protection and More *by J***W on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on February 15, 2017* Great Product. I've only used for a month now, and love it so far. I believe our dog likes it better too as he can now get closer to the front as he can actually stand where folks legs normally would go. Our dog gets car sick, so even yearly trips to the vet end up with messes that are near impossible to clean and this product makes that a breeze. We had started seeing some minor scratching of the leather bench seat and this stops all that as well. I never take it out now, even with groceries it is easier as an accellerared stop doesn't send groceries off the bench to the floor. So far I have no negatives about the product as its very easy to take in and out if you so desire. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Works perfectly - but hand wash!! *by S***H on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on April 11, 2017* I bought this for the backseat of my Honda for my golden retriever. It fits nicely in the back seat, and I like the plastic seat inserts so that the cover stays put. He doesn't seem to slide around on it, either. The only mistake I made was washing it in the washing machine. I had read other reviews where buyers had one so, but when I washed mine it fell apart! I asked the seller to mark this in the description. Other than that, great product. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/31018923-pawesome-the-original-car-seat-cover-for-pets-dogs-cats](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/31018923-pawesome-the-original-car-seat-cover-for-pets-dogs-cats) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
