Our BOOKMATCHED pattern is inspired by an amazing woodworking tradition, utilized in fine cabinet and instrument making. In this technique, a thick board is sawn down its length, into two thinner boards, and then opened like a book. These halves are joined and the grain of the two halves create an organic mirror image. We use patented carving, and forging techniques to achieve the same unique result in our solid stainless steel BOOKMATCHED pattern rings. BOOKMATCHED bands are ideally suited for inlaying with a thin stripe of precious metal down the center line of the ring. These fine grained rings are also available as round bands for both men and women.
