The most slipery!
Supreme Slider is the very best slider for FMQ!!! It is very substantial and extremely slippery. The back is very tacky and adheres well to any surface. NOTE: I wud tape it down on the sides when doing a large sandwich to make sure it does not move and to avoid accidential stitching on this slider. ITS THE BEST AND WORTH THE $$$

Love this slick pad. The fabric moves effortlessly over it. I love it!

A MUST HAVE PRODUCT FOR DOMESTIC MACHINE QUILTERS
I ordered this slider to replace a very old one. I did learn over the years this technique to lengthen the usability of the slider. I now reinforce the back side of the slider right around the open area for the needle and a bit beyond the needle with strapping tape. I do all of my machine quilting, which are usually from a large lap size to a large queen size quilts. I also use the plastic table insert with my Bernina as I do not have a purchased table where I can just insert the machine and the machine is level with the table. With my machine higher than my table, I do need to use more caution when I need to replace my bobbin, more the position of the quilt and/or actually remove the quilt. In these cases, I MUST remember to have my needle up as high as possible and then still, be careful repositioning. Without using caution, I have allowed the needle to leave from short to long slices across the slider.I have used the strapping tape to repair the backside which has been effective. It was finally time to replace my original slider which I believe has served me well for at least 10 years. Yes, I have already reinforced the back side already.I also have followed the directions and when I finish machine quilting each quilt, I always wash the mat and store it back in the cylinder that is used for shipping. I love this produce, especially as I have a Bernina Virtuosa 160 where the room between my needle and the right side I believe is 7.5 inches and as stated, my quilts are usually large. I have quilted a quilt finished at 80" x 80" with this machine. Without the Supreme Slider, I do not believe that I would have been able to have accomplished this task.Even though I use caution

Works great!
This product truly reduces friction when quilting on a standard machine.

It's a game changer for free motion quilting!
I previously purchased the green free motion mat for quilting for my sewing machine. Compared the two items side by side and the Queen Supreme Slider was definitely, hands down, the best for giving the ability to move the fabric easily to free motion quilt on my sewing machine. Although it cost a little more, the quality makes the difference and so worth it!

Really works well, received damaged
So this was a game changer for me on my Juki TL2010Q when I use it for free motion quilting. Literally a 50 inch by 50 inch quilt with batting and backing I am using my fingertips to move it around instead of grappling with both hands (and gloves). Now I do have to mind where the rest of the quilt is so it does not get stuck between me and the table or hooked on the end of the sewing table, which does cause resistance. It is easy to remove unlike the green sheets for 20 bucks. Easy to place back on. I clean it between quilts, it stays just fine with a little lint. 3 Stars? Somewhere along the line before it got to me it got folded in half. Not sure where or when, but now I have a permanent bulge in the material it's made of that I cannot get to flatten like it lifted from the sticky backing and has no way to reattach, which is kind of irritating for 40 dollars. You can see that it was a definite crimp because the celophane bag it came in was crimped as well. I kept it because I really need to finish these quilts for Christmas and the freedom of movement is not hampered by the fold. I just wish I would have gotten the quality product that I paid for.

A little pricey for what it is
This is very thin plastic or vinyl , not sure which. The pink side is sticky and the white side is slippery to make free motion quilting so much easier on your hands. I do think the price is a little steep for what you get. There are alternatives that work just as well and are more cost effective, just search youtube. You are basically paying extra for the name brand. Although this is good quality if it ever needs replacing I would go with a cheaper alternative.

New or Used?
I had purchased this slider years ago and it finally became worn out. I tried several competitor's versions but decided this was still the best one. However, it may be that this particular listing on Amazon is for used mats, rather than a new one. Unfortunately, I didn't open mine until a few days ago, well beyond the 30 day return policy from Amazon and so missed the fact that it has all kinds of markings on it as if it had been scratched by a needle when it was placed and/or removed from a sewing machine bed and the prior person had not first removed the needle. Having done this on my old one, I'm reasonably certain it is the cause. While it probably doesn't affect it's usage, it does feel unpleasant (at least to me) as I'm sliding my fabric over it. (Note: I used a Frixon pen to circle the worst.)
