The sandalwood scent of this gel is the best. I consider it the standard against which all other products that claim to be sandalwood are measured. The bottle is perfect, too, with a toggle top that makes it easy to use in the shower without spilling or getting water into the bottle.

This product has a warm and rich scent of sandalwood that will make your shower very relaxing. It has a fair longevity thereafter, though the scent isn't going to stick around all day. Highly recommend. However, the cost per ounce can be prohibitive. Maybe save this one for special occasions.

Yes it is a bit expensive but using just a small bit works well. It smells great and makes my hair shine - I would buy it again.

I love the sandlewood smell and all the Taylor of Old Bond street products are first class. For me, I am completely tired of the new wave of what are supposed to be men's products. They all smell like cheap teenage girls perfume, even the costly designer fragrances. This smells great and leaves your hair clean and without the residue that most products leave behind. I highly endorse it for those of you who want to leave the girly crap behind. Get a safety razor with real blades and experience the Taylor of Old Bond shaving products too.

When this product arrived, the lid was taped up with clear packing tape. There was no original packaging. It was in a plastic bag that had been wadded around the bottle. When I rinsed all the leaking soap off and opened it I did not smell a sandalwood scent at all but rather it smelled slightly medicinal ...like Dial. And it looks like Dial. Then I took another look at the bottle and I noticed that the label was old with the text rubbed off on the edges. So I am concluding that this is an old bottle that they refilled with Dial (or at least diluted with Dial) and mailed out. I'll ask for a refund and for them to cover the cost of return shipping. If they do that I will update this review. The company that shipped this to me is "FGP".

bought this product because i am a big fan of taylor of old bond street products. the scent is pleasant, but that is about all this product has going for it. for what you pay, you get a surprisingly small amount. in fact, i felt a little ripped off- but that is my fault for not familiarizing myself with the stated metric volume measurement before purchasing. it doesn't lather well and leaves my hair feeling dried out with a straw-like texture. as a body wash, it does ok- but again, does not lather well so you need to use a significant amount to get the job done. i've decided to continue using this as a body wash because it's there and i might as well use it up. would i buy again? no.

I loved this, you don’t get a lot but it lasted me about a month or so before i had to get another bottle and i think that’s fine. I am sich a fan, I ended up getting the sandalwood conditioner from the Taylor website. unfortunately the shampoo is sold out on there website so here we are.

I absolutely love this product. The sandalwood scent is amazing, it lathers up very well, and it cleans extremely well. The only thing keeping me from giving this product 5 stars is the insanely high price. $18 is a lot of money for shampoo any way you spin it but when you couple the high price with the extremely small size of the bottle that you receive, you're left feeling kind of ripped off. I would buy it again, mainly because it's one of the only (if not the only) shampoos with a masculine scent, but the pricing on this is highway robbery.

I've been using the products of Taylor's of Old Bond Street for years now and all I can say is that they are fantastic affordable quality products that have never let me down. I have quite sensitive skin and I have never had any sort of reaction from any of their products, and I have never even purchased their sensitive alternatives! If it's superior quality at an affordable price, these are for you! Don't be put off by the slightly elevated price, they are pure quality products that will last you double or even triple the time it takes to use up the high street cheap alternatives! The scents are fantastic, no nasty chemical odours, just natural, fragrant and high quality ingredients go into these products! I know, I sound like I own the company, I wish I did! Seriously though, try them out, you won't regret it!

Uno se hace mayor y empieza a apreciar ciertas cosas. Por ejemplo: que un champú huela a algo que no parezca una golosina industrial. Este huele a sándalo. No sabría describirlo con precisión —no soy poeta ni perfumista— pero tiene algo de madera limpia, de barbería antigua, de hombre que no necesita levantar la voz. En cuanto a su eficacia: limpia bien. No deja el pelo como estropajo ni como babosa recién salida del mar. No engrasa, no reseca. Da gusto usarlo, que ya es decir bastante en estos tiempos en los que todo tiene olor a “frescura marina” o “tropical sunset”, que no significan nada. El bote tiene el aire de un producto que no necesita gritar en la estantería. Y eso, sinceramente, se agradece. Uno quiere lavarse la cabeza, no ser interpelado por un diseño gráfico histérico. No sé si deja el pelo más fuerte o más brillante. Lo que sé es que da gusto usarlo, que no me ha dado picor y que huele a algo que podría usar un caballero de verdad. O alguien que intenta parecerlo. Y con eso me basta.

Provo saponi e prodotti per l'igiene della persona puntando su una fascia alta e quindi ritengo di avere una certa esperienza, però lascio a ciascuno dire la Sua! Il prodotto è assolutamente fantastico, nessun tensioattivo all'interno che ne permette l'utilizzo anche 2 volte al giorno senza lasciare capelli elettrici, ne basta una piccolissima quantità come i prodotti che valgono solo. La profumazione è marcata nel momento dell'utilizzo e poi rimane eterea senza invadere lo spazio a eventuali profumazioni che si vogliano applicare dal dopobarba al profumo! Mi dispiace per quelli che si aspettavano un odore di sandalo da incenso e ancora peggio da appestato... L'eleganza non è puzzare di profumo e tanto peggio se ci si aspetta questo risultato da uno shampoo... Personalmente lo ho ricomprato!

Un shampoing dense pour lequel une noisette suffit. Mousse agréable, pas excessif, senteur sublime. Bien, très bien, très très bien. Très très très bien. Vl'a mr Amazon. Y en a un peu plus. Je vous le laisse?
