Eva Naturals Vitamin C Plus Serum for Face with Retinol & Niacinamide, 2 oz

I bought three Eva naturals serums (Retinol, multi-peptide and a firming eye serum). I was initially attracted by the price and size- they're the same price but double the size of another brand I usually use (not sure if I can name it- white label brand begins with O) I have found the serums to be nice to use- with the other brand I sometimes experienced pilling and had little grainy lumps but with this I don't which is great . The serums feel silky and hydrating and I haven't experienced any reactions or break outs. I'm 49 and haven't been the best at skincare over the years so I am sure nothing will rewind some of my problem areas. I do feel however, that my skin feels softer and more even toned and using these products has become a much looked forward to part of my day as my skin feels so nice afterwards. My make up also applies better. I am now what will be a new regular customer.

I've ordered two bottles of this so far and I'll be ordering a third/fourth soon. Been usibg it about two months now. I had no expectations of this upon ordering. Just ordered it to try after deciding to give my skin a rest from wearing foundation since I'm having to wear face masks all the time. I noticed quite quickly that my zit scars were fading. Thought maybe it was a fluke so continued using it and more scars faded. I know this stuff fades my scarring quickly. Newer scars will obviously fade faster than older ones. Also had dark marking on my upper lip corners. Possibly due to foundation drying out my skin. Not sure what caused it, but it was unsightly. That's gone now. I have quite spot-prone skin. Prone to oiliness with dry patches. I've had zero negative reaction from this, but my skin is fairly robust after experimenting with salicylic acid and other acids in the past. Definitely doesn't cause breakouts for me. Wouldn't say it stops them either, but it has cleared my skin and improved the appearance. My skin looks better than it has in ages. I've had spots and acne scarring since I was 12. Just wish the bottle was bigger. Though it does last me 3/4 weeks. I use it religiously morning and night. I want to try it on my legs, because I have some weird dark patchy scarring on them and those dark strawberry spots that I can't get rid of. I'll see how it goes. This stuff may not be for everyone, but I wouldn't be without it now. This stuff works well for me. Edit: It helping to fade my strawberry legs as well (along with an African Sponge).

IF UNSURE OF WHETHER TO BUY PLS READ WHOLE REVIEW! (sorry its so long but worth it!) okay so I don't usually leave reviews because I forget haha but I thought I should as it seems people are only saying its a miracle product or that its the serum from hell, and I know that can be very confusing for someone who is new to skincare. I bought this product a couple of weeks ago after weighing up the positive and negative reviews and I'm not gonna lie, at first my skin did break out. I have reactive combination skin to a T, very oily in the t-zone but very dry especially in winter on my cheeks. I stopped using it for a week as initially as I thought it must just be a bad product HOWEVER I decided to try again to see if it really was my skin reacting badly to the product or whether the breakout was simply a purging phase and to my delight that was the case. Now, three days later having used it every morning since Tuesday I can confidently say it has made my pores look smaller and in general my skin is now a lot clearer and softer. I can't speak for others as it may not be good for people with very sensitive skin but this product does work for me!! It does have a strong scent but it doesn't linger after application. Store it in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight as it contains vitamin C which can become unstable when regularly exposed to sunlight (ideally a cupboard). IMPORTANT: Please seek guidance from skincare specialists (there are loads of great ppl on youtube if you can't see a dermatologist) on what ingredients are safe to use together and are safe for you skin type before purchasing. Start by only using a pea-sized amount avoiding your under-eye area as that is the most sensitive part of your face. I would also advise not to use it every day, (I'm only using it from Tuesday-Saturday in the mornings), especially not twice a day, be sure to follow up with a moisturiser and SPF 50+ and to make sure you are not using other products alongside that may react badly with this. If your skin is stinging badly/is really irritated then stop using immediately, wash it off, apply a cream like diprobase to the inflamed area and only use the most basic and gentle products to heal your moisture barrier for the week or so. If you're only experiencing a few breakouts then I'd advise you to leave it a few days or even a week and then trying it again, or perhaps seeing it through as your skin may just be purging (basically a reaction to using a new active ingredient which is increasing skin cell turnover rate). As I said in the headline, please be cautious of the fact that not all products will work for everyone! It's important to be aware of your skin type and what products are recommended for such types, but even so just because something is recommended for your skin type doesn't mean it will work for you as each and every one of us is different! Bought over 10 times, best serum ever

Smells really bad. It goes on easy, abstention can be slow, makes my skin feel tight.

I absolutely love this product! I had tried many before even buying a whole collection of the ordinary without even testing one one! I was so depressed with my skin in aged 38 and and after giving birth to my second child I thought the acne would never stop, although I never got it when I was younger. Anyway I tried this one and loved it so much I recently ordered another! I never thought I would be so happy with the product but I am um ordered another serum with retinal and hydrochloric acid etc and also so although I liked my CeraVe moisturiser I just didn't feel like I was getting my full capacitys worth. So along with the new serum I have ordered there moisturiser. This is supposed to be a game changer with fine lines etc. I love the way the serum feels on my skin after I've washed it. It's got no perfume innit but you can smell the natural goodness of it seeping into my skin. It makes my skin feel soft without feeling caked and I love the way my skin looks after using the serum it's almost turns a light bulb on in my face which I haven't seen since I don't know when! The glow it gives me is undoubtable, my son noticed the other day & being 16 I was shocked to hear him tell me "Mum have you had a facelift or something" I couldn't help but giggle and with him himself getting teenage acne I begged him to try why the serum to be honest he turned it down but I noticed some missing the other day & can only assume although we are close he snuck into my room to try why this magic serum his mother was on about & had to have a try himself?! Lol! I absolutely love this product I can't wait for my other serum and moisturiser to arrive and I will give you my my honest opinion then. As you can read I have so much good to say about this which is very strange for me I never leave feedback but believe me when I say it's worth the money just over £10 is a bargain and you won't be complaining once you see the glow this product leaves your skin! I might have a contrary opinion to the majority of the feedbacks but I think that this retinol is not good at all. Surely I am new to all this stay young thing and I have tried only one different brand so far. The retinol I used was 0.3% and it was really good (not any premium price tag) so I decided that if that makes my skin looks younger then I'll up the percentage and buy something around 2%. I purchased this with hopes that it will be amazing since there are soanu good reviews. It is a complete flop. The previous 0.3% was way better where after this there result I'd same to spit on my finger and to spread a saliva on my face. I strongly recommend not to buy this so-called serum because it is not good. I don't have any irritation and the bottle has no leakage but the liquid in it is not a retinol or if it is it has a percentage that's 0.00000000000000000001%. I shouldn't have even opened it and returned the bottle right away when I saw that the bottle is not black or very dark. Retinol doesn't like light hence to preserve it the real brands only distribute it on very dark glass bottles where this one is distributed on a beer like coloured bottle. Nevermind, I hope this review will be helpful to someone and will prevent them to do the same mistake I did.

Ich habe eine lange Zeit das Produkt von the Ordinary benutzt, war aber nicht wirklich zufrieden, das es sehr klebrig war und stark gebrannt hat. Habe mir dann dieses Produkt bestellt, da es auch 12% Niacinamide statt 10% enthält und 2% Zink statt 1%. Von dem Produkt bin ich sehr überzeugt. Es klebt weder unangenehm, noch brennt es auf der Haut. Auch der Pumpverschluss ist super praktisch. Bereits nach einer Woche hat sich meine Haut um einiges verbessert und auch meine Mitesser wurden weniger. Das Produkt werde ich definitiv erneut kaufen!

The serum was way too thick to pass through the tiny opening of the pump. Was going to send it back but decided to put the serum in another bottle. But will not buy this product again for that reason!

J'utilise deux gammes de produits en fonction des besoins de ma peau. Celui-ci a pour effet au bout de 2 semaines d'atténuer les petits vaisseaux rouges qui sont apparus avec l'âge. Très efficace, je recommande.

Moisturizing and glowing

Just rubbish and trickery. Creates allergies and irritation, infects the skin. I had serious problems with this product and I don't like to use it anymore.
