Hilton Bay Polarized Fit Over Prescription Sunglasses P77

I've been fooling around with sunglasses for fishing for years. The problem with needing an Rx pair is that not everything is available with Rx and they can become expensive, especially if the Rx is changing every couple of years.I finally settled on this pair of 'wear overs' because I keep coming back to them.The one problem besides the low price is that the frame seems to get brittle and break after a year or two of use. I've been wearing them on and off for 6 or 7 years and I think I'm on my 4th pair due to breakage, so this time I bought 2.They are relatively lightly tinted but seem to cut glare better than my latest Rx high $$ darker tinted pair. I like the blue and haze cutting amber in all my sunglasses. I really like the wrap around side panels when speeding around on a boat.I finally had a chance to swap them with my Rx pair while bass fishing and they were the hands down winner due to glare reduction -- must be a coating thing. I already know they work well on tropical flats.So I recommend them for the high demands of sight fishing but don't be surprised when the frame breaks for no obvious reason after a year or two.

Several months ago I ordered these same glasses. My wife and I each have a pair and we really appreciate them. they are great. My second order was also for AMBER LENSES. But this time SMOKE lenses were shipped. I got a refund. So now I was trying again for AMBER lenses, and once again, I was shipped SMOKE lenses! This time I asked for identical replacement. WE'LL SEE!

I bought these for my husband. He is very picky about sunglasses, most are too dark for him and few are true polarized. He doesn't wear his prescription glasses but to read so he has a choice either way with these glasses. I personaly have great ( and expensive) polarized prescription glasses I love, and I would say the lenses of these are every bit as good. They have real screws in ear pieces, that will allow tightening up ( like when the other poster mentioned the lenses popping out- the screws always need tightened when that happens.) cheap made ones are made with no screws. Are they over priced? ALL glass frames are overpriced ( including my own), you just have to pay and try to get something that works. I also like the side and top shading, without looking " old man goofy." These are efficient without being too dark, and can even be used when you get that foggy rain, because of the polarized effect, it really does an amazing job of blocking glare.

I have used these kind of glasses bought at my local drugstore in the past so figured I would try these to replace the last pair. The polarization is decent and the lens color is pleasant (I am not a fan of orangey or greenish tints and these are more grey) and not too dark but dark enough to handle south florida boating. The problem is that they arrived with one of the lenses popped out. I needed them right away so rather than return them I popped the lens back in. It has popped out a few times since then and suspect it will keep happening until the lens is lost or broken. They were inexpensive though and really function well enough. The polarization is the part that matters most to me and that is more than adequate for the price.

Great sunglasses. They do the job. I didn't want sunglasses such as the typical variety where I could turn from a young man into a stereotypical 85 year old in mere seconds. They fit snugly over my glasses and look stylish enough for my purposes.A note about JiMarti: I bought these glasses through this seller and I must say that it benefitted me IMMENSELY due to their customer service practices. A little under 1.5 years after purchase, these glasses fell and the lens popped out. At first, I couldn't figure out how to repair it (I eventually fixed it). I contacted JiMarti about the warranty these glasses have on it, knowing full well that what happened to my glasses was NOT covered. They responded promptly (they responded, even, on Thanksgiving!) and by midday Black Friday, they sent me not only instructions on how to (permanently) fix the issue (which worked), they sent a replacement as well. WELL BEYOND what I expected. Buy from them. You will not be disappointed with their Customer Service.

These work wonderfully over my glasses, have a dark enough tint for my fussy eyes AND they have not broken (they live a very rough life) from anything that I can throw at them. They have been sat upon, put under heavy groceries, fallen on the ground more times than I can count and they still are here for me. I love them!

For the price the glasses seems to be OK except the plastic seems a little flimsy. I'll have to see how the last. Also the lenses are a little darker than I had anticipated but probably will do OK. The price was good so the glasses are OK for what I paid. You can spend a lot for glasses that may be better but these may be good value for the dollars.

I am a senior citizen, female, and wear glasses. These sunglasses fit perfectly over my glasses and they are very light and don't hurt my nose. I have bought several cheaper sunglasses that are heavy and usually an ear piece breaks after awhile. This glasses are so much better than the cheaper ones. They give great vision without making everything yellow (like the cheap ones do) and these glasses keep the sun from blinding my vision too. I will never order the cheaper ones again. These sunglasses are well worth the higher price. The company shipped them to me fast too. One thing more, they are too small to fit over my husband's glasses so a man would need a different style.
