I had purchased Gold Bond Ultimate before and been satisfied with it, so I did not read the reviews prior to my current purchase in April 2025. But the bottles I received did not say "Ultimate". Then I looked at the reviews.One said, "The picture i the ad is for the old "Ultimate" formula, what showed up was the new, far inferior formula. This is a failure by Gold Bond by changing the formula and they actually lie and say that it's the same in new packaging, which it's not. It's also a failure by the seller since they are showing the old container and shipping the new product."Another said, "Doesn't feel like it used to. The pictures show the old bottles but you get the new formula. Its greasier and not at all the same."Gold Bond is a Sanofi product, so I left a message on the Sanofi website saying their product was being misrepresented on Amazon.A day or two later, I got a phone call from Sanofi. The courteous gentleman listened to my story, asked for the bar code of the product I received, then assured me that it was exactly the same product but with a different name.When I looked at the ingredients, they did conform to the description for Ultimate. So I believe him that it is in fact the same product.I think dropping 'Ultimate' from the name was a dumb marketing move, particularly since they have several products in the Gold Bond line. But this rating is for the product, not for the marketing. As for customer service, it was first-rate.Five stars.

The lotion pictured is absolutely fantastic! It’s the only lotion I’ve tried that immediately calms the rash I get from using dish soap. Someone gave me a travel size one and it was amazing so I ordered the 2 pack. 4 stars is because what I received may not be what I ordered. I ordered the gold bond ultimate healing skin therapy lotion 2 pack and received 2 family size bottles of healing hydration. If it’s packaging thing then I’ll upgrade the review to a 5 star, but it doesn’t have the same feel as the travel size.
