How thick is the glass?

The glass is between 3/16 to 1/4 inch thick. The glass is thicker in the middle and the edges taper slightly into a bullnose finish at the edge.

do the mounting holes need to be in studs?

I would have loved to put the board in studs, but the holes are 32.5" across, so with studs 16 on center, it barely makes it. If you screw in sideways a bit, you can just barely get the top two mounts in the studs, but good luck getting the bottom two in afterwards.

Can this be ordered without holes drilled in it? I want to use it as a write on desk top. Also, how thick is it?

It's roughly an eighth of an inch thick. I don't know if it can be ordered without holes -- you could call and see, but I kinda doubt it.

mounting pass thru bracket broke, how do I get replacement? Not the screw, but the the bracket you screw into wall. Face of it popped out.
