Following hip replacement, my legs were hurting all over, my heels were irritated from rubbing against sheets and recliners, and I just couldn’t get comfortable. I looked at bolsters, and decided a half moon type was best for my needs, that putting it under my ankles should comfortably keep my feet and heels from rubbing the bed and recliners. I certainly wanted something soft, and easy to handle, and with a washable cover. This one looked like what I wanted, and it was reasonably priced. It arrived compressed, but fluffed up enough to quickly start using. It is soft and comfortable, and immediately provided some muscle pain relief, as well as relief from heel abrasions. It is exactly what I needed, and I have used it continuously since I got it. I’ve been using a small pillow under my knees, and may get a second bolster for my knees. This is truly an awesome bolster that has provided a lot of relief. I’m extremely happy with it.

Dear fellow sidesleepers, this is the leg pillow for you. Speaking as a dedicated side sleeper, I honestly don't think I can get to sleep without this pillow anymore. I think my favorite thing about this pillow is that it's large enough to get the job done, but still small enough for me to shift positions and be able to re-position it when I'm half asleep in bed. I keep it between my legs at all times, and it reaches from right under my groin area down to my knees, which is extremely convenient. As a thick thigh girl, I can't tell you how uncomfortable it is to have to sleep on my side and feel the pressure of one thigh resting on top of the other. I've always resorted to using regular head pillows between my legs, but it's cumbersome to have to lift them get re-situated when I'm trying to find the sweet spot in my bed. This pillow is lightweight, but still very firm. It will not succumb to your weight, or at least it hasn't been crushed under my monster thighs yet. The memory foam is a feature I didn't know that I needed until I tried it. It conforms to your shape for maximum comfort, without the structure giving away completely like some pillows sometimes do. It's rigid, and keeps my legs separated all through the night. Although 30 bucks seems a little much for a small pillow, it's completely justifiable considering the quality of sleep I get using it.

I am sorry to only give this knee pillow 3 stars but I found I couldn't use it as it was intended. Let me explain. I have knobby knees, I guess, because I always must use a regular sized pillow between my legs during sleep. Sleeping on my side, the pillow pads where my knees and ankles touch. I don't have fat or muscular legs so the pillow gives me a soft padding. When I saw this knee pillow for sale, and read the reviews, I got excited about it. It seemed like it would be a good solution as I have tried sleeping with a regular tubular bolster between my legs but the one I have is too thick. I thought having a bolster that was flat on one side would fix this problem of it being too thick to sleep with between my lower legs. Unfortunately, the slip cover (which is nice) that is removable and washable, has a zipper that protrudes on the flat side. I placed the knee pillow between my lower legs both ways, with the zipper facing up and down and trying to get it sideways but I kept feeling it and it is metal so I feared it would scrape my skin in my sleep. I don't know how they can fix this issue; perhaps putting the zipper on one end instead of along the flat portion? In any event, I am unable to use the knee pillow as a knee pillow, ha ha. BUT, I did discover a good use for it. I am an avid reader and I read in many positions: Seated in chair, propped up with pillows in bed, and also flat on my back. When I read flat on my back, I've found my pillows are too big or too saggy to hold my head in a comfortable position for reading in bed. Well, I tried using this Cushy Form knee pillow under my neck, atop of a flattish pillow, and it worked! I got good support for reading my book late at night in bed. I like to read like this for 20 minutes so I can just drift off to sleep. While I am not recommending this for knees, I do recommend it for your neck or head. It's nice and firm, but soft enough that it has give when you move. It's well made and nice to know I can wash the slip cover when I need to.

I have owned this product for approx. six weeks now. For about a year I would wake up each night with pain in my knees, and have to take pain medication and use aspirin cream on my knees and raise my legs to get the circulation going. Upon reading many reviews I decided this product seemed it may work and was the best one out there. When I received it the product was all squished up and smelly and I had my doubts. I hung it on the washing line in the sun for a day and watched it grow and the smell vanish. I still had my doubts, it just seemed so small. That night I placed it under my knees and for the first time in over a year slept the whole night thru and woke up with no pain in my knees and as a bonus no back pain. I have faithfully used it every night but one since then, and on that one night I had sleeping problems again. I do not know how or why this product works, but it does. I will never be without one of these wonderful knee levelers again. It is small enough that it easily fits into a suitcase, or could be taken on a plane and used as a back pillow while traveling. Thank you Cushy for restoring my night sleep again. Wonderful, Amazing.

I definitely would not buy this item in the future. Although the cover is plush and nice, the foam did not seem to warm up at all to my body. I had back surgery and bought two of these at the same time to aid in my recovery - one for under my knees and one for under my back (as the item information suggests may be helpful while sleeping to relieve lumbar pressure and therefore lumbar pain). Since, unlike other memory foam items, it did not warm up or conform to my body it was simply rigid and felt like I was attempting to sleep with a rock under my low back and knees. NOT at all what I thought that I was buying based on the product information page, it actually made my sleep worse and not better. I wasn't even able to sleep for one entire night with these because they are so rigid and therefore caused me further pain. If you're looking to relieve lumbar pain or for something to prop your knees up while you sleep look elsewhere unless you're keen to sleeping with rocks. Then, come to find out (after the fact of course)... there are no returns on this item. I may be just one person, but if I were you I'd look elsewhere. Otherwise, like me - you'll likely be throwing away your money on something that may end up causing you more pain instead of relieving it.

Let me start by saying that the 3 stars is 100% because of how this works for me personally. I also want to mention that Thera Health Brands has excellent customer service skills. That said - The original arrived and never seemed to fully expand even after days of having it out of the vacuum pack. I responded to the "how's it going" email from Thera Health Brands and they sent me another one no questions asked. It expanded perfectly within 20 minutes. The problem is that it's too hard and literally causes me pain to use. The only way for this to work for me is to sit on it. I have 2 ankles in need of surgery and I need support to my ankles at night. This hurts my joints no matter where I position it (Back, knee, between legs) because the Memory foam doesn't have much give. I hope it starts to relax soon, it's currently an expensive nuisance in my bed.

I write reviews if I love a product or to warn others of a bad purchase (IMHO) I made. This pillow is one of my good purchases. Due to a back injury I had to sleep on my back or on my side. I needed a comfortable pillow to place under my knees when back sleeping or between my knees when side sleeping. This pillow is perfect. It is flat in one side. It doesn't move around when under my knees. It is long enough to reach from my knees to my feet. This is important because a pillow between knees leaves feet and ankles to touch causing pressure on knees. This pillow supports entire leg alignment, putting hip in correct position. Perfect thickness and good quality memory foam. The soft, breathable bamboo cover is removable and washable. I am 5'8" and the length is perfect for me. Because it is flat on one side..it doesn't move while I am sleeping. To sum all this up, it is a great pillow for anyone needing a knee or between knee pillow. I'm ordering another one just to have a spare. Great find for me and I wanted to share with others..

Bought this for my wife, who has alot of issue with her back and legs. Before we used we did wait a full 48hrs as was suggested to make sure it fully expanded. It was definitely worth the wait. Has made a BIG difference and given some much needed relief. This pillow is a wonderful product! It is used it to support her back when I sleep or sitting in rocking chairand the half moon design helps so it doesn't “slide out” like regular pillows. And the firmness really helps in relieving thr back pain (particularly wife's lower back). Has also given comfort when used in between her legs. She luvs it so much that we have purchased another one. 😁😁

An excellent product that I recommend for helping to alleviate age/wear-and-tear-related hip and knee pain, and leg and back discomfort often associated with trying to find a comfortable position in which to sleep. The pillow is soft and firm; adjusts to whatever position you prefer and whatever size you are; and is not too large to manoeuvre under the bed covers when you change position.
