The chunks came larger than I expected and had to cut to preferred size which did not bother me at all. The wood itself was very fragrant and very pleasant. It smoked for a good long time and helped cut down on the amount of charcoal I needed to smoke 3 racks of baby back ribs. And the flavor was absolutely delicious.

I’ve ordered twice and both times the chunks of oak were amazing. While they come in different sizes they’re legitimate chunks with no small wood chips. I’ve made a brisket and plate ribs with the oak and the smoke rings have been amazing! Will order again once i run out.

Way over priced. Swapping to a pellet smoker to avoid being taken advantage of gougers.

Yes, they are oak. No, they are not “chunks” but rather split 12”+ logs. I will have to take my circular saw to them to turn them into chunks I can use on my xl big green egg. Very disappointing - they look nothing like the picture.

Oak lends a nice mellow smoke to any food but very good with beef.Oak is hard to find local,so this is great!
