Good tasty oolong tea
This is one of the oolong teas that everyone should be able to taste- some of the lighter fine ones really are tasteless for some people. This tea produces a good red liquid and there is a good earthy background taste. Drink without milk with a first brew of 5 to 24 seconds- I use four teaspoon for a mug of tea - and then enjoy more brews from the same leaves extending the time by 10-15 seconds each time. I use water at about 80C- boil and leave a couple of minutes. I prefer Oriarmcha as they take care packing the tea to reduce any damage to the leaves- broken leaves taste different.

Best oolong ever and I truly mean it.
I have bought this 3 times in two months. It's my favorite tea by far. Everything about it is extraordinary, the flavor, the mouth feel, the quality of the leaves. I have many different oolong teas and this is my go to, I drink it everyday. It holds it's flavor well into the 6th and 7th gaiwan brew. I even cold brew it overnight, it turns out amazing. I also cold brew peach oolong and mix it 50/50 with this for a delightful summer tea. I'm telling you this is it, the one you've been searching for. Buy it and be happy!

The overall return on flavor is great
It's a perfect balance of flavor, brew and price. Been looking for tea like this for a while.

Awesome Tea
Of the six teas I purchased (mostly Oolong) for my Iced tea maker, this is by far my favorite. Heads and shoulders above the rest.

It's Okay... It's not as great as some reviewers make it out to be...
So, I've been collecting and tasting Da hong pao for many years...After reading all the great reviews here - I figured this one must be great.Well, it's really just okay. Nothing special, nothing fantastic. Sometimes, it reminds me of bagged Oolong tea, in fact. Kind of plain. It's drinkable, but I've found several others that beat it in flavor & aroma. It does allow you to brew several times - I just increase the time a little bit.But overall, I was pretty disappointed. You do get a big bag for your money. This will last a while. But there are much better-tasting ones here... I wish I could've relied on the reviews.I think many folks out there need to try different ones, so they *know* what a good-tasting Big Red Robe tea tastes like.I bought some less-expensive packets which taste waayyy better.
