Have been hunting for this for ages. Lovely spices for stir fry’s etc , if you are not into Chinese 5 spice

I was very surprised that I couldn get these on Amazon I can't find them in any shops at all plus at a good price.

Not found in supermarkets since Covid. Sprinkle on everything. Lovely spice mix

I struggle to find this in the shops now. Pleased to be able to buy from Amazon and it’s good value, lasts ages.

As my manfriend and I eat Thai every week, I usually buy this locally for making my own vegan curries but I wasn't sure just how long it had been in the tub at the local shop, and hence how fresh it was, and since I was getting through it so quickly, I decided to buy bulk online and took a chance with this brand. It came packaged well in a nice, easy to open jar, and was very fresh, but I found I did not like the flavour so well of this particular brand as there was a little too much of one ingredient in it for my personal liking, and brands do vary. However I continued to use it in my curries, also for flavouring mayonnaise with eggs/chicken etc. The Schwartz has a host of recipes you could try on its website (given on the bottle) and is worth a browse. For packaging and freshness and convenience, five stars, flavour is a very personal thing, so three stars in my case, but someone else might find it preferable to another brand. I gave some jars away as Christmas presents to friends, which they were pleased with.
