Will this work in ruger lcp as shown in photo? slide fully close?

No it won't. The LCP is chambered in 380.

Will this work with a Glock 19?

Yes, you have to be 1% smarter than what you are working with. If the slide will not make up it is because the extractor did not go into the groove on the rim. You have to force it. the boresight will take a bit of slam.

When you place the laser bore sight in the barrel are you supposed to close the chamber to hold the laser in place or just slide it in and use it?

Close the chamber to lock it in place. For removal I use a long skinny wooden dowel down the barrel and gently push is out (just don't let it drop to the floor)

will this fit in my glock 17 for a 9mm lugar?
