Very comfortable to use, and the pen writes smoothly
I have arthritis in my fingers and this is the only pen I use. Writes smooth no skips, and is comfortable to hold.

Perfect for those having difficulty with grip and writing
I fell and broke my right wrist - dominant hand (distal radius) at the first of November (2023) on my way into one of the classes I was taking for my degree in college. This resulted in my having to have surgery 3 days later to repair the break and place a plate and screws. Obviously, I couldn't write anything while in the cast! Once the Dr removed the cast I contacted to have a lot of issues with grasping a "regular" pen of any kind! So I thought back to when my son was learning how to write in kindergarten because he needed larger barrel pencils with grips! I am so THANKFUL I found THIS pen on the Amazon! I have tried similar pens but they just didn't feel right in my hand as I am teaching myself to write all over again! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you !!! The ONLY things I DON'T like is that there aren't refills that I can find? And the only ink color seems to be black and there isn't a choice to get blue ink I highly recommend this pen for anyone who needs that extra size barrel, a comfortable grip to it and all this pen promises! My handwriting gets more legible each day but I have a really practice and take my time.

Thinner squishy part and ink uses up quickly
So firstly I love these pens. It’s so hard to find ones this squishy. Honestly I don’t know if they exist. But rn I’m so bummed bc I just bought the ones on sale (to my delight) and the squish is just a little thinner. It’s hard to see in the photo and ultimately it won’t be a huge deal but as someone with chronic hand pain it could make a difference for me. In the first photo it’s the one on the right. If you look close you’ll see it’s slightly thinner and that the core is darker due to more opacity even though the material is the same. The next photo is the new pen where you can see how little light is coming through compared to the second having more from being lifted more. Highly disappointing as I do a lot of journaling and rely on these to save my hands. I bought two and I could tell immediately in the package that both are the same so it seems like a sneaky change rather than a quality control issue. EDIT: I opened the other one and it’s sorta in the middle so it might actually be quality control My other complaint about these is that while I love how smooth the ink is, it comes out fast and it’s a half full of ink stick due to the mechanics of it so you run out quickly and the replacements are very expensive. I’ve found some cheaper short ones and cut them to match the length as a fix.

I love this pen so much that the pen ran out of ink after three months and 22 days!
Before I start: if you appreciate a thicker, solid line from your pens, then you’ll prolly love this pen. If you prefer the finer, hair-like output of a fine-line pen, then close this window and keep looking. This line is 1.6mm, and you’ll prolly prefer a .7 pen instead. Now onto the review: I spent my life using BIC Crystal Stick medium-point pens as the thickness of the ink was perfect and they write so smoothly, but I recently accidentally picked up someone’s Atlantis Comfort pen and then rued the many decades I spent writing with THE most uncomfortable pen on planet Earth! (If you’ve never used one, you won’t know that the Crystal Sticks are eight-sided hard plastic, and the corners cut into the soft flesh of your finger as you write. And if you’re agitated or energized while writing and holding the pen in a death grip? In just a few minutes, you’re in a good deal of pain.) (And if you write a lot, you develop a semi-permanent hump in that spot on your finger, too. Don’t write for awhile and the hump gradually goes away... until the next time you begin a writing binge.) It never crossed my mind that I could have both smooth, perfect ink flow AND a comfortable pen in one ... until I accidentally stole this one from someone needing my signature. The rubbery grip doesn’t cut into my flesh the way the Crystal Sticks do, but rather massages it like a well-paid physical therapist. I gather this is the reason I ran out of ink as quickly as I did: when reaching into my pen cup (which is stuffed with a variety of pens and markers in different colors), this is the one I reached for most often. I see people leaving very silly reviews about the color of the pen or of the ink because they don’t bother to read the details on the page which are provided so that they’ll know exactly what they’re getting. Because I read the details on pages which are provided so that I’ll know exactly what I’m getting, I have no such complaints (though even if I did, I’m not so petty as to whine about about it, revealing to the world my inability to read a product description). This is the best pen I’ve ever used, and the budget price makes it that much nicer to use! I donated all my Crystal Sticks to the cancer treatment center up street; that was several dozen because every time I spotted a package with a dozen or two of the Crystal Sticks for an outrageously low sale price, I’d grab it, figuring I’d eventually have enough to last me for the rest of my life. (Im a disabled vet, and when I see really good deals, I snap em up as im crazy price-sensitive.) I’m back here now to order more of these Atlantis pens (and the Atlantis Velocity pens, too, which come in a wide range of pretty colors (like pink, green, purple, blue, and so on) and are just as nice but have a narrower barrel). I can’t imagine that I’ll run into a nicer pen in this lifetime, and I’m perfectly comfortable with that fact, and this pen.

Smooth ball point pen!
Love this simple ball point pen! Zero smear, and the comfort grip is amazing compared to the ref box pens without it. Definitely an everyday good pen

My favorite pens
They may be a little pricey but they’re worth it. They glide so smoothly, don’t smear or smudge, and feel comfortable to hold. They’re durable and don’t break apart when I toss them in my book bag or my purse. Worth every cent! And love that it comes in cute colors

Great for exams and study
I was doing an exam recently and these pens were a life savour in prepping for it and also the 3 hours writing during it. One thing to note is that you can get refills for these which I didn’t realise until I had purchased quite a few (I had a fear they would run out in the exam room. They didn’t)

I love this pen
This pen is the best utensil for someone that needs to use a pen daily. It’s my main tool at work, and I guard it a little too much. But I know it’s mine, and it gets a lot of hours of use. Probably last me about 2 years before the tips threads start becoming weak from replacing the ink over and over again. Love it.

Great Pen
I really like this pen, just wish it would come in Blue ink.

Nice pen, not sure about the ink
I like the feel of the pen and the softness of the grip, but found that the ink clumped fairly soon after I started writing. It put my trust in the pen lower than my original joy at how it felt.
