I expected it to be a bit "finicky" because of the price, but this thing is more reliable than my dog when he hears a cheese wrapper. Installation: I didn't have to tear open my walls like a caffeinated raccoon. No wiring, no mess, no calling an electrician who charges $100 just to say "hello." The "Magic" Factor: The RF signal on this thing is a beast. It goes through walls better than my neighbor's bass music on a Saturday night. I can click the switch from across the room, and the lights pop on instantly. No lag. No "searching for Wi-Fi." Just pure, unadulterated light-up-the-room goodness. Final Verdict: If you want to feel like a wizard on a budget, buy this. Works beautifully in my office to turn on lights where the light switch was not designed very well/ not put in a very good place. Doesn’t clog up the other outlet. Excellent communication across the room. Easy to use installed in a few seconds and made my life better. Highly recommend to prevent falls and for safety. It’s a good size. It’s very durable. The remote control works very well. Highly recommend.

Easy to install. Works like a regular light switch. Bought it for the living room where the light switch was by the front door. So I hooked it up to a lamp and installed it at the house entrance to the room. Bought a second one for the bedroom after that.

Works perfectly, and looks like a normal light switch. Saved me a lot of money on an electrician to figure out why the regular switch wasn’t connecting to anything.

I have been super happy with this item. I can flip my lamps on at night with this rather than shuffling around the room. The only complaint is that the item came without the plastic tab that keeps the battery from draining, and the mounting screws were also missing. BTW, the red light in the pictures only flashes when you push the buttons.

I love this floor lamp - but you can only turn it on/off using a foot switch that's almost impossible to reach. This wireless wall switch solved my problem! It takes literally no time to set it up - works right out of the box. My 2 components are located close enough so I did not need to have line of sight to make it work. The outlet part is hidden under the sofa, and the switch plate is on the wall around a corner about 15 feet away. For now, I attached the switch plate to the wall using command strips - just so I could try it for a while and see if I like the placement before I drill any holes. As other reviewers have mentioned, the switch plate does stick out a little further than a normal hardwire install - but the trade off is worth it. I will be ordering more for my other rooms - great product!!

I would have to say this is at the top five of my favorite gadgets around the house. You want your lamp to have a switch but there's no switch in the wall. This is how you do it. I probably have about four of these in my older home because there aren't light switches for wall outlets. Super super super functional. And well worth the money for what you're trying to accomplish. Put a light switch wherever you want it for your lamps or even for appliances. I use one of these for my flat iron so I don't have to unplug it and plug it back in every day. Been using these for years and had to buy a new one for my new house. Absolutely love it.

I am using them to turn on a radio from a remote location. They are simple to use...just plug and play. And they work. Have had one for over a year and the on off function always works with just one push. My older units would often not connect...likely old technology and range (not the battery). Range is at least 60ft for my use. Highly recommended.
