Can these strings be stringed on a baritone using standard uke tuning?

I would say no. Strings are designed for a certain length neck, pitch, and tension. The diameter of the string affects the pitch, too. These strings are designed for a Baritone length neck, but with D-G-B-E tuning. If you wanted the tuning to be standard G-C-E-A, you would have to make the tension either really loose or really tight. Either of them would probably be unacceptable to be able to play the ukulele. If you tuned them too tight, they may break, or even put too much tension on your ukulele, possibly affecting the bridge. You could use these strings: Aquila New Nylgut AQ-23 Baritone Ukulele Strings - High G (https://www.amazon.com/Aquila-AQ-23-Baritone-Ukulele-Strings/dp/B00MXUIQMY/ref=sr_1_2?crid=3K4CX26MCJXNY&keywords=gcea+baritone+ukulele+strings&qid=1649123406&sprefix=GCEA+%2Caps%2C184&sr=8-2). If you want a low G tuning, use the G from the Aquila 116U and substitute it for the high G string in the Aquila AQ-23 (or buy a separate low G Baritone string). You could also search around for other strings tuned to GCEA but Baritone length. Some contain a low G string. They are out there.

The package label says gcea, but a stick on tag says dgbe. which is correct? and what colors are for which strings?

a baritone ukulele. If so then largest string goes on closest to your chin when holding in the playing position. Followed by the next largest string. Followed by the next largest string. The last string in the smaller and it is closest to your feet in the playing position. I think these are the Lava edition (its been a lot of years) but they are seriously Fine Strings. Always remember that a baritone uke strings are D G B E. and they are much longer than smaller ukulele strings.

Good strings

These might be my favorite cheap baritone ukulele strings so far. They have a nice rich, mellow sound that works well with a baritone.

Great strings.

I recently got a new baritone ukulele. But the strings that came with it had balence issues and didn't stay in tune very well (also an aquila set). But the lava series string have no balence issues. In fact the balence is perfect. They also stay in tune very well. Not to mention the sleek grey - black of the B and E strings. All in all these are great strings and I will be buying them everytime I need a new set of strings

I like the Red series better.

I didn’t like the wound strings in this set. They feel too slinky/stretchy and have a twangy sound I’m not into. I thought the Red series wound strings were better overall.

Mi sono piaciute molto

Ho acquistato da poco un ukulele baritono ed ho subito deciso di cambiare le corde di fabbrica con queste perché hanno un prezzo tutto sommato accessibile e perché erano scure di colore caratteristica che mi piaceva all'occhio vista la mia inesperienza in fatto di corde per ukulele. Il suono è decisamente migliorato e sono davvero piacevoli al tocco.
