Q: Is this absorbent as a towel and also what is the exact length please?

It is not very absorbent, so I would not put it on after a shower without drying my skin first. As to its length, I haven't measured it, but I am about 5ft tall, and it comes to between the ankle and mid calf. A nice length, as it is cosy in cooler weather.
