Smart charger that works great - does run a bit warm
This ECO-WORTHY smart charger has been excellent for maintaining my batteries. The automatic charging stages work perfectly—it intelligently switches between bulk, absorption, and float modes to keep batteries in top condition without overcharging. I use it on my RV batteries and it's extended their life significantly. The interface is straightforward with clear LED indicators showing charging status at a glance. It's reliable and I trust it to maintain my batteries during storage without babysitting it. One minor note: it does get a little warm during operation, especially during the bulk charging phase. Nothing concerning or abnormal for this type of charger, but worth mentioning. I just make sure it has good ventilation and it's been fine. The build quality is solid and the cord length is adequate for most setups. For the price, you're getting a smart charger with desulfation features that would cost much more from other brands. Great value and does exactly what it's supposed to do. I'd definitely buy another one if needed. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quality battery maintainer!

Charger failed to even attempt to charge its own brand battery
Charger failed to even attempt to charge the same-brand 50ah LifePO. Let it go dead. We'll see if the MFG has any suggestions or replaces it. Updated: During initial use i left two small led celing lights on and this drained the battery. For some reason this 5a charger couldn't compensate with a charge and draw. I topped off battery (lifepo) with a 10a NOCO then put this one back on and shut off ceiling light. No trouble. However i want a light on to discourage mice in the trailer. I will teat more with only one of the lights on and maybe they draw more voltage than this charger can put out . They are small lights... Will follow up. I was hopeful....

Getting a charge out of it, so far...
I've charged with it once: Charged my new 20ah battery which showed 2 bars at start in 2-3 hours. (I wasn't watching it. Checked it after about 3 hours.) Seems about right. I must have missed the included postage-stamp-sized instructions I saw someone mentioned in a review somewhere... will check the box again. I never actually looked. Wanted to use it as a 12v 'adapter', to test some LED strips received the same day, was trying to figure out how to get there. The Mode button toggled between 3 battery-type charging algorithms and the snowflake. (What battery type is the snowflake?)(Edit: Lead-Acid only.) Did not see ADP or something that looked right as an "adapter" choice. Tried STD mode with the LEDs, got me very bright pulsing lights as a response. A random standard 12v wall-wart powered the lights up correctly - continuous, not as blindingly bright. This will not be it's normal use, but mentioning it. (It did make me wonder about the charger for a moment, though.) This was at work. Took it home and charged the battery, as mentioned above. Will give it a closer look on the weekend, but for now, it's doing it's job. Plug it in, change mode to LI, then connect to the battery. Walk away. "If all else fails, read instructions"? LOL (Edit: I did look for instructions at lunch. The instructions are about 4x6, with smaller but readable text. English and German. I've now read the instructions. Hold the mode button for a few seconds to get to ADAPTER mode. It's in the instructions... The LEDs flashing was from the initial pulse-mode the charger initiates with, when in STD mode.) Included was a cable I can leave attached to the battery posts (or to the power buss I'm adding to my project) with standard SAE power ends, so I can just power the charger up and connect the SAE plug to charge things. Has the clips-ons, too, for portability/versatility. It's doing what it promised.

nice display
Nice unit, charges LiPo4 type batteries well. My only complaint is like this and other electronic equip, the ' manual ' is a small folded paper with tiny print. At 77 and I have glasses I needed my magnifying glass to read it.
