Logjam The Logarhythm mk3

This thing is just what I needed. I play in an acoustic duo. I sing and play tambourine and a shaker while the other guy plays guitar. This was the perfect addition to add just a bit of bottom end into our sound filling out that void. I play it comfortably standing up while playing shaker and tambo at same time. I have 1 room that it picks up a stage vibration and hums but other than that room I have never had a problem. I'm sure I could rectify it if I placed the logjam on a piece of carpet or a small pad. I was expecting something a kin to a bass drum but instead it’s something that sounds like tapping on a piece of wood. Also, you have to find the sweet spot to get a loud enough sound. It’s easily lost if I change the position of my foot slightly. I don’t think it’s worth what I paid for it but there’s so little out there to choose from and it’s nearly impossible to determine the tone from any demos that are online.

Sounds great with the right sound system! If you're plugging into a little amp, you won't get much sound - you need a lot of bass power to make this thing work, and some EQ. Once you get it dialed in, though, it really sounds killer.

Wow total disappointment. Ordered this instead of a cajon pedal to provide a simple bass or snare beat to acoustic music. Read a the reviews before ordering and even took the advice to get a preamp for it. Sounds like hitting a wood block with a stick, and that is all. No deep sound or punch, just dead click/thud sound. Tried various floor settings, pedals and EQ settings on boards, no difference. Very disappointed.

works great. I was expecting a bit lower thump than it delivers but using the controls on the mixer helped. Just back off the treble and mids and it sounds pretty good. Also found if you tap on different areas you get a different sound.

This has a great bass sound and is built very solidly (I think out of a solid block of wood). Played it at one gig so far and added so much to my solo guitar/singer show.

I've shopped around and tried other stomp boxes, some at twice this price, but nothing had the punchiness or sensitivity I was looking for. The Logarhythm has the perfect amount of low end. I love how powerful this little guy is!
