Tripura Rahasya: The Mystery beyond the Trinity

Tripura Rahasya is a classic advaita text that explores the relationship of the individual person with the supreme cosmic consciousness (Self of the self). The text itself is based as a conversation between two people which makes it useful for understanding as compared to some rigorous philosophical texts such as those of Shankara. That does not mean this book lacks the philosophical depth and insights into Advaita philosophy. Creation, ego, individual soul, nature of samadhi and Jnana are all dealt with throughly in this teaching and make this book a self-sufficient text meant to be read again and again and used as a reference "Bible". Overall, there is a nice balance of story-telling to relate complex concepts with philosophical treatising. This book definitely needs to be by your side and not on your shelf, if you are a serious sadhak/Jnani that is becoming.

One of the most sacred intelligent books out there

Not philosophy, just pure Wisdom.

I enjoyed reading this book. I found this book to be very intense book on oneness. Broken-up into small pieces of paragraphs. The translator has tried the best to keep the essence and to the point.

I am writing this review just on receipt of book and having a cursory glance at its content. though I purchased a used book at a throw away price still it is as good as brand new one, even the external plastic cover was in place only half torn. Received it within the promised delivery period. Thanks to Amazon for providing opportunity to get good used books from reliable suppliers at very good price.

Might be the best book every at explaining non dual truth.

Tripura Rahasya!!! This book is just beyond everything and anything... I happen to see this book in search of something else, The Title was what attracted me to buy this book. But my journey through this book is been splendid and has revealed a lot of secrets of universe. For a spiritual seeker knowledge is something like endless ocean, but to go in a right path and get right knowledge is what matters. This book gives such eternal supreme knowledge which all should know and imbibe in them. Ultimate messages in the book are first conveyed in the form of parables (which connect us so well to the point and make more sense) and later are given the spiritual essence of underlying the stories. This is a book for all, for a normal person to actually understand his purpose of being and getting into right track and for spiritual seeker/Sadhak to grow more in spiritual practice to attain Oneness and lead a happy life. I am very very very thankful to the author for its English translation and my heartfelt gratitude. Thank you Amazon for keeping book in your shelves, thank u so much for making it available to all..

This book should be read in sequence of , first Bhagvad Gita(gitapress) 2. Yogavashisht and then read this amazing philosophy with amazing elucidation... spiritual seekers must read it line by line..
