Worked as it was supposed too. Haven't noticed if they are biodegradable yet.

Count 'em!
Great idea, so so manufacturing. These can break very easily if you are not careful tapping them straight into the ground. They break if your downward force leans a little to one side (ex. trying to finish pushing them into the ground with your boot). If you tap them into the ground, making sure your downward force is straight onto the peg, they do work well. Once the stakes are in the ground, they do an excellent job holding items down and/or in place. I strongly suspect that I received less than 100. I have not used many more than 40 (give or take 5) and the box has 40 left. I would recommend you count them when you receive the box. Since I have broken a few, thrown them away into my recycling bin, and the bin has been been picked up, there's no way I can get an exact count now. My mistake. These are good sized stakes, so a box that looks full is not a guarantee that you got all the stakes you paid for.

Perfect item, perfect price!
This product is exactly what I've been looking for, at an extremely reasonable price. My use was for staking down a robotic lawnmower perimeter wire, but it's a perfect product for any sort of wire staking (invisible fence, etc.). The companies that sell their own stakes often charge $25 and up for as little as 50 stakes, so these are a real deal. The fact they're biodegradable is a big plus, for the environmentally conscious. I'd definitely buy from Palmetto again!

Very useful, simple to use product
had my first chance to use these the other day and they are fabulous!! sturdy, hard plastic that hammers through weed fabric and into the ground easily. works so well in corners and around roots where a usual garden stake will not go.ordered a second batch - this product works so well!

These are NOT bio degradable, eco-friendly. Purchased in June, 2016 and are still there as highly visible green stakes.

Would Recommend
We have two slopes in our yard and put down seed and an erosion blanket. These stakes held the erosion blanket perfectly and we had no problem with erosion and the grass grew in nicely. Would recommend.

Excellent holding power
Firmly anchored overlapping seams in excelsior erosion control blanket. Monitoring biodegradation of stakes and straw blanket following germination of a mix of rye and tall fescue. Excellent performance following several intense thunderstorms and heavy rain.
