I was due for a new yoga mat as I practice every day anywhere from 10 minutes to 45 minutes. Over the years I've taken to liking the 1/2" thick mats with the grip lines. They're just easier on the joints (two acl reconstructions and a spinal fusion from T2 to L2) and a plate in my wrist. This mat is great. I like the design and color, the thickness is perfect, no smell AT ALL which is both rare and awesome. I used it today and found it comfortable. I also like the 72" length because I'm about 5'9 so I'm not hanging off the mat. I've been practicing yoga for over 15 years and have my CYT 200 even though I don't teach, and I would highly recommend this mat.

I am baffled by the reviews that say the mat is not non-slip. Makes me wonder if perhaps different color mats are just enough different to vary in their grip (or slip)?? I have the blue mist and have had zero issues with it slipping. I have found the thickness to be wonderful for my bony joints. My knees no longer scream in pain while doing different stretches. I have been very pleased and find the mat to offer plenty of cushion and stability. It did arrive smelling odd so I put it out on my patio for a day of sunshine. The smell disappeared and was ready to use the next morning.

Not squeaky, non slip. Much thicker and comfier than a normal yoga mat. Only thing is wearing sneakers on it, it might give you some more squeak. Just wipe down with a wet wipe after class. Keep it in my car. Purple color is perfect- muted yet a statement. Goes with all my clothes/towels.

The mat itself is great and as someone who didn’t want to break the bank but still wanted to be comfortable I decided to go with this. What caught my attention were the colors but more importantly how thick they were. Upon arrival you do have to be careful opening it which is expected. However there were dents from the carrying straps which I assume it’s because it was really cold. I do notice that if you place your mat in a cold area it will start to form with whatever is around it. BE CAREFUL WITH THAT. it is a mix of user error as I do leave it in the trunk of my car for my early morning for Pilates which I do twice a week. It gets cold. I did notice that one day in an area where I usually have my knees on there was a small rip/opening. It doesn’t bother me not affect my performance. I also don’t slip? I don’t wear anything special just regular puma socks and I don’t slip. For the price you can’t beat it. I am buying another one. Overall it is a good starter mat :)

I’ve really been enjoying this yoga mat. It’s fluffy and thick, which gives great support for my knees during certain poses and stretches. The length is also perfect, especially for someone on the taller side. I chose the light purple color, and it matches the pictures perfectly. As someone who practices yoga regularly and also uses it for stretching in my home gym, I think this mat is a great choice for both comfort and support.

This is the second mat like this. It’s nice and thick and one side is ribbed for stability. The dog dug into my first one and I immediately replaced it with this same mat

I’ve been using this mat 4+ days a week for 2.5 months and it is durable and comfortable. I use it for yoga, sculpt, and Pilates. It’s held up during burpees, pushups, and plenty other moves that I half expected would tear the mat, but it’s held up great. It also gets wiped down with a disinfectant after each use. Still like new. Great price too!

It is very soft and cushy good for pilates however I don't recommend it for yoga. I could feel the mat moving under me while posing and that is very dangerous. The mat started cracking after 10 pilates classes. I'm unfortunately going to have to buy a different mat but I might cut this one up for knee support.

Honnêtement, je suis vraiment impressionnée par l’épaisseur de ce tapis! Il est super confortable pour les pieds, les genoux et surtout les mains. C’est beaucoup moins dur sur les poignets pendant les exercices, ce que j’apprécie énormément. Il est aussi vraiment long. Je mesure 5 pieds 4 et j’ai encore beaucoup d’espace, même allongée complètement. Je ne connais pas la longueur exacte, mais il est clairement plus long que les tapis standards. J’adore le fait qu’il vient avec un support pour l’enrouler et une poignée pour le transporter facilement. C’est super pratique pour l’amener avec moi. Pour vrai, je pense que c’est le meilleur tapis de yoga que j’ai acheté de toute ma vie. Je le recommande à 100 %!

Exactly what I was looking for. Recently my pilates studio changed the flooring from carpet to floorboards . This did not suit my body as the exercises were hard on my knees and elbows and back. This mat has made my exercise regime so much more comfortable. 1/2 inch suits best. It rolls easily . Obviously because of thickness it would not fit my usual bag so I had to buy a bigger bag but that is just me

Habe sie vlt 5 mal benutzt, tut was sie soll, ist von beiden Seiten rutschfest aber hinterlässt Spuren wenn man was schweres drauflegt und dort sind dann knicke die auch nichtmehr rausgehen, für mich aber nicht schlimm. Das Band zum Tragen zieht sich zur Mitte der Matte wenn man die Matte zusammengerollt trägt, das kann nerven aber nichts schlimmes.

Comfortable thickness worth the premium

A very comfortable mat if you have sore knees or back. Any postures where knees & back are involved it's great. It is so padded that it is a little more difficult to do balance postures easily on it.
