My dark hair is about a level 2. I got the bright idea to have some pieces in the front of my hair bleached out and the goal was to tone to a platinum grey. Unfortunately, my dark hair turns a disgusting orange/yellow color even though I had it professionally done. My friend got it to a level 9, but it was still pale yellow. No matter what we tried, we could not take the yellow out. I hit it with alien grey. It’s not perfect, but the lightest parts are a pretty grey color and the darker yellow turned beige. I am happy that I look more normal.
