It's LOUD! ... Update after new replacement.
What the heck is this? First time plugging it in and it so loud. I'm so disappointed that I spent $299 tax for something that sounds like it wasn't screwed on properly. Okay, I turned it off for about 12 hours and now it sounds like a diesel generator when the compressor comes on. I can see the fan wobbling. I bought this because of the reviews it had from online. It was rated as one of the quietest units. I was going to opt for the cheaper unit but decided to get the mid range since it had some of the best reviews. Well, since the reviews said it was one of the quietest, and this isn't, then it's defective. How can anyone listen to something that sounds like a diesel generator for hours? UPDATE - It was replaced with a new unit and it's working great. I'm assuming the first unit was defective since I sent the batch number and they didn't ask any questions and sent a new one. The new one lives up to it's reviews because it's really quiet for what it is and works well. Very useful during a massive rainstorm that caused some flooding here in New England. Really happy with the product and replacement.

Terrible quality, barely lasts 6 months! Buyer Beware!
These units are of very poor quality. They work great when they're working, but I have had THREE replacement units from HomeLabs. All 3 have failed with less than 6 months of use, and their warranty only qualifies for the purchase date, not the unit itself. We have confirmed correct installation and is all well within their environmental recommendations. E3 fault over and over, which they tell me is a refrigerant leak. This has happened to all 3 units they have sent. It is getting very difficult to find a quality dehumidifier, however, I would refrain from purchasing anything from this company at this point.

Workhorse in old farmhouse basement
This dehumidifier has been cycling for over a year in an old farmhouse basement, still with earth floor cellar. It pumps condensate up 8 ft to the septic system. Does the job wonderfully.

Get the biggest unit available
Update: After 8 months, the unit died. It would run, but made a different sound than usual and had an error code of E3. I contacted the company through Amazon and they responded promptly. They gave me some trouble shooting guidance and determined the unit to be faulty. They had a new unit on my front porch within 2 days! Wow! That is excellent customer care. While I would hope the unit wouldn't have failed so quickly, the customer service was amazing. Works well, but it's difficult to get below 40% RH in a 2,230 SF home, even though it says it's for 3,500 SF and up to 6,000 SF. The home is sealed tight with spray foam in walls and roof, but unit runs non stop when set below 45-50%. It would also be nicer if you could change humidity levels in increments other than 5%. It definitely removes water from the air and has helped make our home more pleasant, but I should have gotten an even bigger unit. It's pretty noisy on turbo setting, but bearable. We usually turn it off when friends visit. The unit is pretty compact in size and easy to use. All the settings are pretty straight forward.

Great Dehumidifier and Great Customer Support
I have had this Dehumidifier for a little over a year, and it has worked beautifully. However, most recently, it stopped working, and I was a little worried, as it was out of warranty. I emailed the seller just as a Hail Mary, and lo and behold, they are sending me another unit. That alone speaks volumes! Again, it’s a great unit. The pump works very well for a bathroom. You won’t be disappointed and it you are, I am confident their customer support will make it worth your while.

Had an issue with the original unit. But customer service was able to resolve the issue.
I purchased this back in July 2025 and it didn’t even last one season. Keeps throwing an E3 error code. For the amount of money I spent,I shouldn’t have to buy one every year. I contacted customer service and with their help I was able to receive a replacement. The customer service department was extremely helpful in resolving the issue and I had a new unit delivered to my home within a few days.

Not worth the 300 for 18 months of use.
I purchased this unit for $300 on August 14th 2024 and by the spring of 2026 it no longer worked giving me an E3 nerror message. A call to customer service revealed that this is an internal probelm with the unit that possibly could be repaired but there was no guarantee on that. They offered me a 30% discount on buying a new unit that I declined, I basically spent about $15 per month to rent the services of this unit and now I have to dispose of it. After complaining about the short warranty the customer service agaent did say there is a 2 year warranty if I had registered the unit but that I would have needed the confirmation code from the email I would have recieved after registering it. I get products that cost less than $100 lasting less than a year but when you spend 200-300 on something you expect it to last longer than a year and a half. DO NOT BUY un less you just want to rent the services of this unit for $15+ per month!

Makes our ridiculously humid bedroom PLEASANT!
Excellent at making our owner suite addition livable! Our bedroom & bath are separate from the rest of the house & aren't as well insulated, so we have had humidity problems since moving in. Finally decided to do something about it and ordered the one with the PUMP. It's amazing! Drops the humidity in our wing from 80+ to 50ish in about an hour, then cycles on as needed to keep it there. We have it pumping the water into the tub for the most convenient method, but have accidentally set it to go to the tank a few times -- only takes a couple hours to fill that huge gallon plus collector before it automatically shuts off & waits to be emptied. Hoping it continues to impress! AC works & feels better and our clothes, towels, and bedding don't feel pre-moistened (ewww!).
