AFA Tooling Deburring Tool Set & 2 Countersink Hand Reamers, Red CNC Handle

Haven't had a long test, but they've remained sharp for a few months now, and arrived with out any defects. No case, they just come in a zip lock bag, but I can't complain for the price.

These are a nice tool. Heavy duty and sturdy.

If you want serious hand de-burring and countersink tools.. These from AFA are very well made, strong swivels that last and are extremely durable and stay sharp for long periods of time, almost seems they are self sharpening. The countersinks in the kit are a metric must for 90 degree correction. These also seem to behave like 10mm sockets or wrenches just so you know. They always seem to reappear just when you need it or perhaps not. Anyway these tool are common in most tool boxes so it makes me wonder why its missing in most toolsets just not mine, simple tools like these are a corner stone in any well setup collection of mechanic tools.

Excellent quality and use these tools in a professional production fabrication shop. These tools are at a top level and will be buying more.

Haven’t used them much yet. Seems to work well on various aluminum alloys, mild steel test holes that I tried them out on. Remains to be seen how durable they are, satisfied so far. Plastic should be a breeze EDIT: soft metal great hard metal not so much. Hard steel will win. But on aluminum , plastics and and brass 👍

I recently bought a deburring too with a plastic handle, after one use the blade kept falling out, This set is a superb all metal build and feel good in the hand. these will last a long time.

This is a decent looking kit. The pieces feel heavy, being machined and knurled. However I think the thing that matters most is the quality of the heads/blades. They appear to be well done and should last, but time and use needs to pass by to render a verdict here. As far as what ya get, it seems like a well thought out kit to deburr just about any drill hole or rough edge in cutting work. I will return and edit my review once I’ve used them. At this stage I’m not too skeptical and believe they should do the trick. For the money charged, I would have liked even a cheap plastic case to keep everything together. But only the long skinny replacement blades come in such fashion. Luckily I had a small zipper tool pouch to put everything in. But so far, that’s my only con. At this stage I still have to recommend this kit as we’ve all drilled holes or cut pipes (at least those shopping for such little tools) that need some refined clean up. Sandpaper doesn’t always cut it or isn’t handy. Recommended.
