FLOSO Ladies/Womens Thermal Thick Chunky Wool Blended Socks (Pack Of 3)

Ok I bought 6 more pair, but have a caveat for others. expect dropped stitches to appear and be read to repair. I keep a nice ball of baby fine wool sock yarn along with needles etc right by mu chair so that I can fix the dropped stitches as the occur. The company must have a knitting machine but either they have workers that gather and form the toeboxes or the machines were poor;y made because nearly ever single sock from the 6 original pairs has needed darning. Now this is an art I grew up having to do, but most younger folks wont want to bother and will be annoyed. I no longer want to knit my own socks so this is much easier than starting from scratch. If you do not want to bother fixing your socks then buy different socks, these will drive you crazy, but if you want really warm socks and are used to doing things like this these are great socks. The other thing I did with the new order is wash them in super hot water and dry them on hot. The new set fit much better after being shrunk first. I have a feeling they are made in a country that doesn't much care about quality control...of my new 6 pair I had 4 need fixing right off the bat.All that being written I do like the warmth and softness and need socks so I am content with these.....they may not be made as well as I would have done by hand, but they are warm soft and after being preshrunk fit well, and they certainly keep my tose warm, and fit in my 'muck-em out boots."Just dont expect socks like granny used to make, these are interactive socks, you have to do some work yourself.

The knit of these socks is a bit bigger than I expected. These are not like perhaps.. the smart wool socks in terms of texture. They are just straight up traditionally knitted wool socks, where the thread of the wool is sturdy and on the thicker side. This may not be visible in the photo, but your skin will be a tiny bit exposed through the tiny holes of the knit. Also if you have tight fitting shoes, you will feel the grain of the knit pushing into your skin due to the texture of the material. If you are looking for something softer and more insulating, I may consider another option or splurge for smartwool.Regarding sizing, I wear a size 10 in Womens and these fit *perfectly.* Since these are more the traditional style of knit sock, they do not have a lot of stretch and give. If you have a smaller sized foot, the sock will be floppy. And if your feet are larger, the sock will not stretch comfortably.If you are just looking for some cute and warm socks, these are definitely great (look at the price!!). I am a fan of this traditional style and find them to be super cute. The super chunky knit looks great in the winter :)

I invested in all four colors of these socks after a long search here at Amazon where I was looking for thermal womens socks. I am sorry to say that the socks themselves, while well made and in attractive colors, are, well, not worth the money. My biggest problem with them is that, even after washing in hot water, the socks are too large and just do not fit well. I am spoiled by my SmartWool socks that I had been looking to supplement, and, as I needed a number of pairs of socks, buying a dozen pair of SmartWool ones was just not in the picture. I am wearing the socks though -- just not on their own. I am wearing them over my SmartWool ones as I still need to wear two pairs of socks to keep my feet warm. For the price that I paid for this dozen pair, I would have only been able to get two pair of SmartWool ones. So, as I still need to wear two pairs of socks to keep warm, and they do fit over thick, bulky socks, I will continue to wear them while I save up the $$$ for a few more pair of SmartWools.

These definitely kept my feet nice and warm (while allowing them to breathe) while hiking and camping in the UP of Michigan in October. The best part about them is they are functional yet still stylish, looking nice in a pair of hiking boots. It's now been a few months and they're still good as new! Just make sure to follow the washing instructions (i.e. allow them to air dry, do not use the dryer) and you should be good to go!

The socks were delivered ahead of schedule, and in good form. They are a nice feel, color, and texture. However, there weren't any washing instructions included (they are part wool, but not itchy). They are also at least a size larger than the general American sizes (I wear a women's 10 & they socks are way too big). I washed the first pair as I would any regular pair of socks, hoping that they would shrink a little. They didn't. I believe the socks would keep my feet warm if they fit.Overall, I would probably love the socks if they fit.

I should have known that this deal was too good to be true. The price was nice . the socks are a lot larger than I expected. Iv always had a hard time finding a good fit because I'm very petite and I have a small feet 5 1\2 so everything is a little to big but these are large ! They are not thick or chunky like the description says they are just normal thickness my toes ate not any warmer than if I had on regular ol socks .

These are nice knitted/ crocheted socks. They get stretched out after wearing them around the house for a couple hours, but when I wash them, I put them in the dryer and they do NOT shrink. They do, however, conform to their original size. I half expected this from a wool sock. They are pretty warm and very comfortable. My only concern is I don't think they are intended for everyday use.

Loved these. Super cute and cozy -- they did lose their tightness after a few years and wore some holes in it. But overall really cute and good for them money.

Cosy, warm socks but the finish leaves a lot to be desired as they seem to generate holes quite easily and I have to stitch them myself.

love the socks but pulled a pair out today to wear and there is a hole the size of a dime on the one sock. Otherwise they are nice and warm. They arrived quickly, we'll before the expected date.

Did not receive the colours as indicated in the photo. They are much darker and no white or very pale pink. Not worth the wait.

These will be great when the winter arrives, lovely and thick and very warm, my husband has already tried to pinch a pair!

Product was good but could not wear them so gave them to a friend she loved them
