What's included in the TORQX kit?

A dual-action polisher anchors the kit, paired with four compounds and polishes that step from heavy cutting to final finishing and three foam pads matched to cutting, polishing, and finishing. Together they cover a correction from start to gloss.

Is this kit good for beginners?

Beginner-friendly dual-action motion makes this kit approachable for a first paint correction. The random orbital movement resists digging into paint, the polisher is weighted to do the work for you, and each compound includes application guidance.

How do I choose which compound and pad to use?

Defect severity guides the choice: start with the heaviest compound and cutting pad on deep swirls, then step down through medium and light stages to the softest pad and finishing polish. Always test a small section first with the mildest combo.

What is the difference between a random orbital and a rotary polisher?

Random orbital polishers spin and oscillate at once, which spreads heat and lowers the risk of burning through paint, making them safer for newer users. Rotary polishers cut faster in expert hands but demand more skill to avoid swirls and holograms.

What paint problems can the kit correct?

Common paint defects are the target: light to moderate swirls, fine scratches, oxidation, water spots, and dull, tired finishes. Results vary with paint hardness and defect depth, and the staged setup lets you build correction up gradually.
