Maybe patchouli was the wrong scent to get. I wanted something that would help neutralize the natural odor of a Labrador while not making him spell like fruits or flowers. I also know that patchouli has natural insect repelling properties, like citronella which is why I went with this scent.It certainly works, but my dog smells like he belongs back in 1969' wearing headbands while listening to music at a muddy, outdoor venue for 3 days in the middle of August.As stated, the stuff works and lasts about 3 days before needing to be bathed or reapplied. As a benefit, after he has been treated with this, I do notice less insects around us, but that patchouli smell, is just so - HEAVY...

It smells so good . Freshen my big laberhound right up after a run outside.

My girl is unable to be bathed due to an injury. She was really starting to smell due to the injury. This definitely reduced the odor. It is long lasting. I have only had to apply it twice in about a week. I just spray a couple of spritzes on her belly fur (away from the injury) and that seems to do the trick.

I sprayed on my dog after he dried off from a bath and I love the smell it’s great but it definitely doesn’t last long.
