Have to purchase the foundation paper separately but each pattern is very easy to sew.

There was supposed to be a CD. Instead there is a URL for downloading it. After downloading and extracting the zip files, there isn't any instructions on what program to use the files with and they won't load in Foundation Factory. Very, very frustrating since the patterns pictured in the book are hard to copy. If anyone has actually been able to access the downloaded CD, I would appreciate instructions. I am using Windows 10.

There was supposed to be a DVD in the back of the book to be able to reduce the patterns but it was missing. I wish it had been included. The book is fine and I realize it was used but I wish I had known the DVD wasn't included so I could have bought a book with the DVD.

I have many of Carol's books, having taken classes from her twice now. She never ceases to amaze me, and this book is no exception. We were able to do a Storm At Sea from blocks in this book. Can't praise the techniques and clear instructions enough. Well worth buying to get the information alone, but having the CD in the back of the book makes it worth even more.

I am very pleased with this book. I've never paper pieced before and I was a little wary of doing it on my own. This book explains each step with pictures and the reasoning behind each step. I am so excited after making my first block, it is perfect. I can't wait to keep working on the rest.

Another brilliant book by Carol doak. Good patterns and easy instructions. Would recommend all of her books.

Can't wait to get started on this versatile patchwork that leaves lots of scope for creativity. The instructions are clear and easy to understand.

If you are into paper piecing this is a great book.
