Good value for money - set aside a day - instructions deplorable - blew over - company replaced it
So where do we start - INSTRUCTIONS ARE HORRIBLE - framing poles are OK in terms of thickness and screw together with questionable wingnuts that kind of get tight - look at video in ad for better direction on how to set up - not enough bungee cords to attach tarp to frame - used extra rope for some sections- once top had to be really stretched to fit and still not perfect - too tight- only 2 side has 45 degree supports and would benefit structurally if both sides had it- get complete top on and zippered before ground staking- came with a few holes already in it which I will Gorilla tape so they don't get bigger- Once assembled and ground staked it appears fairly stable - set aside several hours to set up and complete this project - at least a 2 person job and step stool - UPDATE - shelter blew over and was destroyed after 6-months - company stood behind product adn replaced it - TY

Will work great!
A new review made it go from 1 star to 5 stars: Insurance fixed damage to my car and the seller sent a replacement right away after I sent photos of what failed. To reduce the chances of this happening again (it's pretty much null at this point), I used thick aluminum-coated outdoor duck tape around where the top side curved bars go into bottom straight bars, that way if the ropes fail or stakes get uprooted again, at the most, it will just tip over. I also added padding over the bars. The new replacement carport included black stakes that you screw into the ground instead of silver stakes that just get hammered into the ground, this should also prevent it from failing again.Old review: I went by directions and once it was finished looked exactly like the pictures. We had a thunderstorm with some semi-decent winds, the next morning it had been uprooted from the stakes and tie-downs.

Windy
The stakes that come with this are totally insufficient. I used stakes and guy ropes, and first good wind blew it away. Luckily it blew between two buildings and "stuck" there with only a few bent struts. I picked up 8- 3/8"x18" pieces of rebar and replaced the stakes and guys. Have had 40-50 mph winds without any trouble since then. Canvas is exceptionally durable. Except for stakes this unit is well built and durable!!

You need at least 4 people to assembel this car port.
This item lacked pre-drilled holes on some of the poles! The bolts all had wingnuts, which made it easier to put on, but they don't stay tight! Will have to replace them all with locktight nuts!I will be using it to keep my car in. I am going to have to figure out how to keep the door open for getting in and out, as I am short and can not reach to use tie ups provided at the peak of the unit!

If this is all you can afford to protect your equipment save $100 and buy a cheaper one
What i disliked. There were no assembly instructionsThe cover should have been a foot longer and 2 foot wider for the frame suppliedThe cover seems no heavier then similar itemsThe legs did not have screws in them to hold them to the roof supportsThere were no lock washers to keep the wing nuts from coming looseThe holes through the frame are to big to engage the carriage nut making tightening difficultThe ground anchors are to small to be usefulNo feet on the bottoms of side supports making mounting to a wood or concrete platform difficultOnly has braces on on end. they need to be on both endsWhat i likedHas 6 legs vice 4 on each side but that does not justify the extra $100 i paid

Nice but not waterproof
Assembly with 2 people not too hard, though the instructions could be better. It has no problem holding up to wind, water does seep through though. I do not recommend this product if you live anywhere that rains a lot-which I do. Wish I had known when they said waterproof what they meant was water-resistant. I wouldn't recommend this product to any one that thinks this will keep stuff dry. IT IS NOT WATERPROOF

Excellent
The media could not be loaded. ย What I liked was the heavier weight of the frame.i also liked the heavier weight of the cover.a neighbor helped me assemble it who had went through 2 cheaper ones over the last 2 years.he was amazed at the frame and then felt the cover and was like wow.I'm in michigan and will definitely buy another before winter to put our summer car into for less than storage costs. My only issue is the instructions are not quite there yet but once you work it out it's easy.My next buy will be up in about 2 hours.I would highly recommend this purchase!

Customer service and Heavy Duty.
Customer Service was excellent and help me through this setup. Used 2"x 6"x12's to tie this thing down so it doesn't blow away here on the coast of North Carolina. This Heavy Duty carport is all Galvanized to protect it from the salt air. I installed more floor brackets to keep it on the ground during Hurricanes. Used Cement blocks on each corner to weight this thing down. Got the galvanized steel braces to make it a true "snow load" Carport. Easy to assemble, did it myself.
