Great long-lasting durability!
Been using these for about a month now, and we really like them! We paired them with the Flip diaper covers (which you shouldn't buy on Amazon, btw, there are some phonies being sold. Buy them at cottonbabies.com- the original makers of them). So far-- not one leak! My sister in law recommended them as they have held up well for her with three children, and they just had their fourth. Same set of diapers are still doing the job! They are cotton, so they don't draw moisture away from the skin like microfiber or hemp inserts claim to do. I haven't used those so I don't know how well they perform. We've found with our baby that as long as we change her relatively often, it hasn't caused any issues with diaper rash.My only complaint, and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is the sizing. It says these are good for 7-20 lbs. Our baby is 13 pounds, and they are getting pretty small. There's no way they're going to fit her when she's 19 or 20 pounds. Not a huge deal as we can order the next size up, but I do feel like it's a bit of false advertising. Other than that, these are great!

Absolutely loved the diapers purchased originally, but fabric is much rougher for diapers purchased a couple years later
I loved these diapers for my son. We used them until he grew out of them, and then use them for lots of other things after they wouldn't fit him anymore. When I had my daughter, I knew I wanted to buy more so I would have a nice stash. But the new ones (purchased summer 2014) were very rough and stiff, and super thick when they arrived. I wasn't worried because I knew they shrink and get softer as you wash them. Now my daughter is almost 6 months old, and they're not very much softer. PLUS they have started to pill making them feel very rough and scratchy indeed! I don't like using them. The old diapers are amazing! SUPER soft, very absorbent, and not too bulky.I would describe the newer diapers being closer to the texture of denim. Not what you want to bunch up between your baby soft legs. I am hoping I may have just gotten a rough batchโฆ I will still purchase this brand again because we have just loved all the other diapers we've purchased from them (see I have bought several of every size: premie/newborn, 7 to 20 pounds, and the toddler size).

Good Product- Not Cost Effective When Compared
I bought these prefolds as well as the OsoCozy 6 Pack Prefolds Unbleached Cloth Diapers, Size 1 at the same time. I figured that The Bummis being twice as expensive would somehow be magnificent compared to the Osocozy, however that is not the case. I have laundered both brands the same amount at the same time and the adsorption and softness are great on both, so great that you cant even tell the difference one brand to another. They are stacked together with all my size ones and truly, even if you examine there is no difference. The quality of both is far batter than GMD.com prefolds as they are much softer, fold easier, launder better without shrinkage and are more absorbent.

great prefold!.. But shrunk
Bummis is a fantastic prefold diaper. You can put it in pretty much any diaper cover. I have Thirsties and best bottoms. Honestly the inserts I have for best bottoms do not protect the shell enough from getting soiled. So I haven't been able to reuse the covers unless I do prefolds. The Bummis you need to wash a few times to get max absorbency but they work so well! And I like that they aren't bleached.Update-I changed the rating to 3 stars because they shrunk so much that it doesn't fit my 11 pound baby, even though it says to 20 pounds.

Update
While theese say they will work up to 20 lbs, I don't think that's true. My little is just 15lbs and we had to stop using them a few weeks ago because they were too small and hard to get on even with a snappi. I will still use them tri folded as inserts for my pocket dies or as burp cloths. Other than that they were great!Update.... I have been using these trifolded as inserts in my pocket dipes since my son is a very heavy wetter. They are working fantastic! No leaks and they hold a ton. They are slightly more trim than my gmd yellow edge prefolds I'm also using as inserts.

Ok, but not great
These prefolds do they job, but if you're going to go with prefolds, the most economical and versatile cloth diapering option out there, I'd recommend investing in a higher quality diaper. These are absorbent and work OK, but the quality is just mediocre. The other prefolds I have from Green Mountain Diapers are so much softer and fluffier and absorb more liquid than these Bummis - and they only cost a tiny bit more. I used these because I had already ordered them, but I would not buy them again.

BEST REUSABLE DIAPERS (PREFOLD) ever!
Along with our Thirsties diaper covers, these diapers have by and far been better than the competition. We have BumGenuis AIOs and a couple other brands (that pale in comparison to BumGenius, so bad that we can't even use them), and yet these do a better job in daily wear and at night. On a heavy pee night, we will change once and midnight and these will last us until the morning without soaking into clothing. Can't say the same at BumGenius, which ALWAYS leak during overnight use. And these are like 17$ for six of them and ONE BumGenius AIO costs 20+$. The quality on these guys is EXCELLENT. They have held up a thousand hot water washes, all kinds of ISHT (literally lol) and packing/folding/stretching/stuffing/etc. They really are the best in the reusable diapering game, that we have found!

Sizing seems off
They seem to work okay but I don't see how they can fit an infant up to 20 lbs. My daughter was 9lbs 6oz at birth and they didn't fit her that great from the first day. She is thicker in the waist which makes it hard to get a tight enough fit around her legs. I was trying to fasten them on her with a snappi but now I just fold the diaper and place inside of her diaper cover.
