Not was I was hoping for but good product
Not what I was hoping for, but seems like a fine product. Blinks quite a bit. Doesn't seem to take much movement at all. The balls come with one of those pieces of plastic that you pull out in order for the batteries to connect. Which is nice if you want to keep one stored and only need one at a time. I bought it to fit my Bergan (Coastal Products) turbo scratcher. It's not just too small it's quite smaller. It fits in the track and rolls but I don't think it'll stay there long once a cat starts playing with it. This isn't the product's fault, it's mine for not verifying if it fits. In the photo I tried to show the width of the ball vs the width of the track. It doesn't show it as clearly as I wanted.

Holly loves these!!
I've been waiting for these to come in the mail. My cat loves these balls. She plays with her track several times during the night. Cause no matter how hard I'm sleeping I can hear the balls hitting each other while she's meowing. One of the BEST toys ever!! They're very easy to handle and fairly lightweight. Just pull the tab out of each ball and insert them into the track and push. The balls will light up instantly since they're are touch activated. . Now if I remember correctly the battery lasted a couple of months. Don't quote me on that though. It also depends on how often you're cat plays with them. Holly plays with it several times throughout the day, but mostly at night since it lights up in the dark. It's definitely worth the price.

She loved it!
My cat loves this, however, the missing star is because the lights burn out really fast on these things. It took her a few months to even hit the balls, when she did start, she just fell in love with it, I had to replace the ball it came with within 2 weeks, I figured because they had sat so long ignored before she got bored enough to try it....Now I can't replace the lighted balls fast enough to keep her content. I'll just hope she continues to play with them unlit. So far she is with two out of three that are in there right now totally unlit, but no where near as much as when they all light up. If she gets lucky enough to swat the lit one it holds her attention for a bit, but it is dimming fast, and won't last much longer. I bought a couple of the tracks and linked them together to make a larger play area for her and one ball didn't seem enough for it. Not sure I want to keep buying them....I'll have to wait and see how mad she is when it's not as entertaining to play with because she can't wake the whole house up in the dead of night...I'm betting she will find those balls, lit or not eventually.

Bright light cat toy!
My 8-month-old Persian kitten loves this ball, it's very bright and works flawlessly! She loves playing with her toy with the ball spinning around. I can hear her playing with it in the middle of the daytime and at nighttime too. The color of the ball is nice and bright and attracts my kitten, she loves it. The ball spins easily with no issues inside her toy. It has lit up every single time that she has swatted it. I highly recommend this illuminated ball cat toy for your cat or kitten, they will get hours of enjoyment from it!

Grrreat Balls!
I was thrilled to see that replacement or extra flashing balls could be purchased! My cats like the flashing balls much more than just the solid colored ones. I first bought the flat track, made it into a circle, then made it into an "s" & put it with some kittens. The flat track version didn't have a light-up ball, but the babies had so much fun with it that I decided to look at the other products. Next I bought the uphill/downhill one. It had a light-up ball! I put the 2 kits together & watched them have even more fun. I wasn't sure if the force of getting the ball(s) uphill would be frustrating to the kittens/cats, but it wasn't. They really liked it. Because of that I bought 2 more of the kits! I chose the flat track versions again, but bought more light-up balls separately. So I now have 3 tracks set up together & 3 light up balls running around. The kittens have all been rehomed (I rescue/foster) so now the game lives in the livingroom with my cats. They all enjoy it. They play together, one at each end or sometimes with the ends & the middle areas "covered". As evening comes on & the balls really show up flashing red they go crazy! My husband gives me grief about all the "stuff" I buy for the critters, but even he has fun watching them play with their long snaky track. These are well made toys that seem to keep the cats coming back for more.

Fun for a Week
I received two clear yellow balls with visible circuitry. I know the toys were brand new because the battery pull tabs were still intact. However, one of the cat toys was split apart into two pieces. I figured, I could glue the halves back together later, and gave my cat one that was whole. I pulled its tab, and the red light immediately began flashing with the slightest shake. It was bright enough to be seen in a well lit room. My cat chased and batted the yellow ball around for several play sessions on our hard wood floors. It's not a chew toy, but the hard plastic surface rolls really well. It's ideal for interactive play. My grandson pushed the ball, and the cat raced after it. We were careful not to toss it because we knew the hard plastic could crack or break with an impact. She was only interested in it when one of us was making it move, but my cat used the working ball for five or six short play sessions, before it stopped lighting up. At first it became so dim that it was barely visible in a dark room, and the 9th day, it quit altogether. I suspect the battery draining, from a manufacturing defect, but I couldn't closely inspect or replace the battery because it's sealed inside the toy. As interesting as it was for my cat for the few days we had it, this toy is a poor value because one arrived broken, and the other was defective. I found a different one that's more durable and bouncy because the inner plastic ball with the visible components is encased in soft rubber. It's described as a child's toy rather than one for pets, but now my cat is enjoying a fun and functional transparent light-up toy.

Broke super glue helps BUT the point is it heh BOTH broke. .
This product is pretty good however it did break very easily. One ball was probably my fault. I just barely tapped it on the ground to get the cats attention and it broken half the second one I had put into the track and it worked for about 20 minutes and then it broke too Nothing that a little superglue can’t fix and it rules just fine now and we’ll see how the product holds up, but I don’t think that that should be happening.

Fun activity for self entertainment
Miss Kitty loves playing with these light up balls. She initiates the play time and enjoys chasing after the balls. They last a long Time, provide quiet play time and they are safe for her to play with alone.
